 Alert Admin 		Bro greg, I don' t think Singapore will likely ever go into DORSCON RED considering how even previously with the high number of daily cases, we have always been in ORANGE. You should however tone down on the overzealousness by asking others to chant DORSCON RED as others have highlighted you could be hit by POFMA for this.

I do however  agree that things seem to be turning for the worse considering the number of new community infections that suddenly rose to the highest ever in over 9 months. Let' s hope the gov gets this under control fast and that the 5500 workers that were recently tested after the westlite dorm cluster surfaced do not end up finding a lot more cases.

 Alert Admin 		Bro, I read his message as he was trying to emphasise the severity of local covid and I think it happened that he used the word Dorscon red when he didn' t mean MOH has switch to Dorscon red... the authority will not suddenly change to Dorscon red but will assess situation carefully before declare Dorscon red.. for Dorscon red, it will be circuit breaker and for authority to declare red, death rate should be quite high..

These seven cases had already been placed on quarantine earlier, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in its preliminary daily update.

Eight other community cases are linked to Case 62541, a nurse at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). The cases were detected from testing of patients and staff members in the affected ward.

 Alert Admin 		I hope the admin do something about this. If not, this is really irresponsible and I won't hesitate to quote this fellow to the authorities. You want Profits in shares trading or whatever, you go do it your morale way. Not by spreading false news and causing fears. Necessary punishment under our law is much needed !

It is a fact that US has announced less stringent on masking( if not wrong wef on yesterday). When I heard this, my thot was how it will affect the perceptions of ppe/mask stocks. Could the weakening of gloves sticks/Medtecs today caused by this change in perception. Just my thot

But imho... Vaccinated liao still should wear masks...cuz vaccines only help those innoculated to not get seriously sick, but they still can get infected and then passed on to the vulnerable. As for USA, I really would take their directive with a ton of salt. They are playing to the anti maskers and acquiescing to them for their votes. I mean USA is #1 on Covid chart for all the wrong directives given during pandemic - all in the name of Freedom, Votes and Self Above Others

But if u bought to collect the good half yearly div, then shd keep until at least collect the coming 5.6c div after 11th May.
Imo, at current price and div, still worth keeping until there are buyers at 130, or when their earning drop so low that they can only give say, 3% div yld instead of current 6.2%. 
Counter does appear to be heavily suppressed for BBs to collect. Otherwise where can find another gem with eps of 33c selling at 108/109. With eps of 33c, there is a lot of room for kongsi to give more div in the future. Just opinion.laugh

Q1 may be BAD because Q4 saw a drop in Covid and world positive covid is over, coincide with SIA n Blue Chips ALL Recover. but now in Q2, India has DIED, Singapore is NEXT to Fall, and if SG falls, Medtecs 2 SGD may be the Floor. But Of Course, I wish SG well, take it as a Hedge?
