Controlling shareholder Melvin Ang has transferred his 201 mil rights into a company owned by him held uh nder UOB Kay Hian. One big overhang removed as it means UOB Kay Hian is likely to provide him the funding to take up the rights entitlement. Make sense as the issue is underwritten by UOB Kay Hian. This news is positive as it was previously unclear whether he is going to take up his rights entitlements . |

AMC Entertainment soared 13% last night. Can MM2 Asia do the same as Singapore slowly opens up its Cinema as well? Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. soared Monday, after B. Riley analyst Eric Wold said it&rsquo s time to buy, citing an improving balance sheet outlook and as a strong opening weekend for &lsquo Godzilla vs. Kong&rsquo pointed to a resurgence in demand. The movie theater chain&rsquo s stock AMC, +13.35% bounced 14.6% in afternoon trading, following a 32.8% tumble in the meme stock over the past two weeks. Wold raised his rating to buy from neutral, and boosted his price target to $13, which was 39% above Thursday&rsquo s closing price, from $7. |

It seems many are stil not familiar with rights issue Now mother share is already trading ex right. The dilution also happened and it' s not based on the dates shares are received in cdp i see Terp being brought up now. It' s no longer relevant.. that' s why it' s call theoretical ex right price. 0.047 was a discount price offered to share holders because of the dilution of shares. Previously it was trading at around 0.12. Ex right it was 0.08+ and it dropped further since then

That is provided everyone sold their shares to exercise rights and they are holding at 0.047-0.055 after exercising the rights. Many bought at 0.12 or even higher therefore they average down to 0.07-0.08. The TERP after share dilution is 0.0835.

But if x rights date is 08 april, after that wouldn't mother share px drop back to 0.047-0.060 levels? Considered a dilution of share price right? | ||||
