 Alert Admin 		Correct. One thing to note is that as of this moment, NOBODY  has any idea what MT' s sales revenue will be like this year as the sharp increase in demand during 2020 starts to fall.

CEO William Yang did highlight this but also hinted that although the demand in many countries has softened as their covid cases are now more under control / they have replenished their needs adequately last year, there are still countries whose stock supply are still growing.

Regardless of Disease X or not, I think COVID has woke up many countries on the importance of a national PPE stockpiling plan going forward into the future.

With this pandemic, no government in the world will dare to become complacent as far as healthcare PPE is concerned.  Unfortunately, it is not going back " to the good old days" .  So, while sales/profits will not be as good as last year, demand will not collapse back to pre-pandemic days.  We have been warned.  Anybody' s guess as to when Disease X is going to strike.  I will continue to hold my long postion since the dividends will give me a > 5% return.  This is not bad compared with REITs and I can also participate in potential future capital gains (hopefully). Lol.

On the question of hostile takeover, my take is that, although Clement Yang and family does not have > 50% control, there are probably other big " friendly" shareholders who are in this together.  Otherwise, this company is really a very attractive target for takeover.  That being the case, they really don' t have to worry.  Cheers!!!

Another key item, Medtecs was asked on how worried they are about hostile takeovers by Maybank KE head.

According to William, they' re not worried about it and are actually concentrated more on " sustainability" .

It appears their 2021 plans and going forward all revolves around business sustainability (by diversification, and expansion of market shares).
