Container throughput of Hong Kong port (China) in 2020 fell by 1.9%

In January-December 2020, port Hong Kong (China) handled 17.96 million TEUs (-1.9%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, the port&rsquo s largest terminal Kwai Tsing handled 14.4 million TEUs (+1.7%, year-on-year), other terminals handled  about 3.5 million TEUs (-14.2%).

Port Hong Kong is one of the world&rsquo s largest ports. It is capable of handling 456,000 vessels per year. In 2019, the port&rsquo s container throughput hit 18.36 million TEUs.

I keep posting about the reasons to buy from a technical and logical point of view.
I now wish to share about maximizing the potential your capital by using margin trading.
However, many may be sceptical about margin trading but many instances in your personal life, you are doing some sort of margin trading that you didn&rsquo t even realized.
For example, you buy a car with loan ( you indirectly investing money into a depreciating asset ) in return for better way of life. ( using 10-40% down payment and margin/loan the rest of the amount )
And there goes the same for your property and many kind of asset.
HPHT is a Reit which means using this margin to buy a bigger part of a growing Real estate asset but maintaining some interest which isn&rsquo t a bad idea afterall if you compare to buying a property in Singapore.
 
I wish to share a few platforms that can help you on margin trading.
 
Tiger Brokers which gives 40% margin to buy HPHT, which roughly means $10,000 can buy $25,000 worth of HPHT ( if you hold in long term, you are earning/losing x2.5 )
There will be interest incurred which can simply be covered by the dividends that the company issued.
A simple math will tell you that, lets say the upcoming dividend is only 3%.
you use $10,000, you get $300， but because of margin you get $750 ( isn&rsquo t that aswesome? )
How about interest? You pay 1/12 x 4.25% per annum, which is $53 for the $15,000 that you loan )
Net Gain of $697 for just $10,000 investment. （ excluding potential capital Gain/loss ）

Which gives you 20% Margin which is x5 of your capital with a rough 6.25% holding cost
However, it is not as easy to use and that&rsquo s why I only want to recommend people who trade before.
 
I hope all of you huat huat, not every time you can find a under value REIT that gives good dividend with good future prospect. ( I expect the Price to increase to USD 0.40 in 6-12 months Time )

I believe in the next 3-6 months, it will reach $0.37USD before launching for a long term Goal of $1.00 USD ( 2 -3 Years )

If fundamentals doesnt change, whenever it drops to the bottom line of the chart Shown above, is a good chance to average it up.

I only have one wish that it does not PRIVATISE! Please do not do it! we should not be looking at 10-20% gain
we should target for 100%-200% Gain.

Why would they want to privatise? It is unlocking the assest value.
Is like buying a bargain with great potential to increase 3-4 times value.
Current purchase is 40% discount to Net asset value
Future Value is optimistic with 100-200% Gain.

60B HKD is equal to 7.74B USD Which is 4 x the current market CAP of HPH Trust
 
To unlocked the net asset value of HPH Trust, they can use 10% of the cash including their own shares to buy the shares and unlocked an almost 3x Net Asset Value with good potential growth.
This revenue growth can be channelled back to CK Holdings
