 Alert Admin 		Chill. Stocks market actually like gambling house. Fundamental don't always the mai factor to move it price.
It move by BB with huge fund. Of cos justification to lure investor to follow.
Fundamental is for those who hold for years and those who do that please don't come forum for daily updates. Stock price can be dynamic.

And also based on my experience, SGX u cannot hold a stock for too long. A few years gain can easily wipe out within weeks.

Between Nov 20 and 24, Riverstone Holdings executive chairman and chief executive officer Wong Teek Son acquired 200,000 shares of the company for a consideration of S$270,500.
 
At an average price of S$1.35 per share, the acquisitions increased his total interest in Riverstone Holdings from 51.12 per cent to 51.13 per cent.
 
His acquisitions followed a similar pace to the preceding fortnight, with 160,000 shares acquired at S$1.45 per share between Nov 13 and 17, and 170,000 shares acquired at S$1.54 between Nov 10 and 12.
 
He is the founder of Riverstone and was appointed to the board as executive chairman on Aug 3, 2005.
 
Mr Wong' s executive responsibilities include developing business strategies and overseeing the group' s operations.
 
On Nov 17, 2020, Riverstone Holdings issued 742,452,050 new ordinary shares (including treasury shares) in the share capital of the company to shareholders, on a basis of one bonus share for every one share in the share capital of the company held by shareholders on Nov 10.
 
Following the allotment and issue of the bonus shares, the total number of issued shares of the company has increased from 742,452,050 to 1,484,904,100 (including treasury shares).
 
With the bonus shares going ex-bonus on Nov 9, Riverstone Holdings began trading on Nov 9 at S$1.93 per share, a measured move from the previous close of S$3.70.

 Alert Admin 		Actually there is nothing wrong with these falls. They are just consolidation of the very big wave from the bottom.

The end of the wave is always the toughest as you never know when is the reversal.

Do you know that it took 2 months for SIA to reverse. I went through three bottoms from August till October.

Now this Riverstone consolidating is only 1 month

 Alert Admin 		On the issue  of unfortunate timing, who can foresee? Pfizer  vaccine announcement came  just 3 days earlier before STA was due to announce spectacular Q3 earnings (Q3  net profit  is 90% higher than Q2). STA was trading around S$1.4x to S$1.5x and  had a chance  to hit S$1.6x to S$1.70 but  just unfortunate.  In my view, the Pfizer vaccine  has  a  serious logistical problem (super cold storage) making  it unmarketable to most  hospitals and they should " solve" this  issue  first but they probably  too eager to announce their " success" .  Glove companies good fundamentals seem to be  losing to weak market sentiment  at the moment.

This gives a yearly net profit of RM608m ( S$200m) !

 Alert Admin 		The point is shareholders who got the bonus shares should not be worse off under normal circumstances. 
In the case of Riverstone, it is the unfortunate timing of the bonus share that upsets many as the price was hit during the period when we have yet to be credited with the bonus shares. 

In good times would you complain if the price was rising and you have yet to sell because you do not have the bonus shares in your account? Instead you may be thankful for the timing as otherwise you may have let go too early.

I think you need to review again their balance sheet and their earnings ratio comparitively with the industry peers, not just in absolute figures.

 Alert Admin 		As I have mentioned many times, NO Short Squeeze = NO Rebound / Recovery.
It' s currently a Shortist haven, be they naked or not.
Indeed a sad situation the last 1 month.
Hopefully things turn around soon.
But with Year end Book Closure coming up, who knows how much is going to get sold off again before the end of 2020.
Maybe some houses have already sold off and booked profit, maybe more to come.

The reason people has high hope was because it has peaked at about 245 before, and everyone is hoping it will climb back to that level.
Analysts' TPs sure fan that cause too.
Fundamental? Sure! Many of its peers have solid ones too, and even better showing for some in fact.
But where are they now, too?
