Between Nov 20 and 24, Riverstone Holdings executive chairman and chief executive officer Wong Teek Son acquired 200,000 shares of the company for a consideration of S$270,500.

 

At an average price of S$1.35 per share, the acquisitions increased his total interest in Riverstone Holdings from 51.12 per cent to 51.13 per cent.

 

His acquisitions followed a similar pace to the preceding fortnight, with 160,000 shares acquired at S$1.45 per share between Nov 13 and 17, and 170,000 shares acquired at S$1.54 between Nov 10 and 12.

 

He is the founder of Riverstone and was appointed to the board as executive chairman on Aug 3, 2005.

 

Mr Wong' s executive responsibilities include developing business strategies and overseeing the group' s operations.

 

On Nov 17, 2020, Riverstone Holdings issued 742,452,050 new ordinary shares (including treasury shares) in the share capital of the company to shareholders, on a basis of one bonus share for every one share in the share capital of the company held by shareholders on Nov 10.

 

Following the allotment and issue of the bonus shares, the total number of issued shares of the company has increased from 742,452,050 to 1,484,904,100 (including treasury shares).

 

With the bonus shares going ex-bonus on Nov 9, Riverstone Holdings began trading on Nov 9 at S$1.93 per share, a measured move from the previous close of S$3.70.
