Buy and hold for the long term is a simple winning strategy, but it is not easy. You make thousands of decisions to not sell.. dont trade ,,just go long,, it is simple,, u argue,, u wil learn a lesson ,, months or yr from now. |

Hope u are not this guy...... It all boils down to trying to time the market. When you sell your entire portfolio and your timing is off and everything shoots up on you. It&rsquo s not that you are scared to buy back in. The investor doesn&rsquo t want to buy back in at a higher price. This happened to me with Tesla (100% of my portfolio, foolish I know). I had at one time sold all my shares of Tesla thinking at the time it hit its high. I was going to buy back on a dip. Big mistake, Tesla didn&rsquo t go down, but up instead. So, I took the loss and bought back in fast. Tesla hasn&rsquo t looked back since, just keeps going up. Over all trying to time the market with Tesla a few times I only gotten it right once. So eventually lost 1/2 my shares of Tesla pre split. I stopped trying to time the market, and I&rsquo m up 10X on the shares I hold now on Tesla. I&rsquo m not selling any shares now for at least 5-10 years. I finally learned my lesson

I think it got chance to go back $120..just buy on dip..i bought in 2 batches $90 and $87 yesterday..not the lowest price but am happy with it..

TP 120 already hit before the profit guidance. some had sold half. I believe u just buy affer the drop at $85.
now need to see wats thier actual results. Long term shb still be good.

Hello bro, all threads here do not have so and so' s thread engraved as though it is his or her grandfather' s thread. We only see something about Eagle victorious or something like that in ' Other' . We never see " Victor" though we see victorious now. But when we saw it, the context is totally different. So pardon us, we come in here and mistake that this is ' victorious eagle' thread and not ' Victor' s thread' . I suggest you change your name to " Victor' s thread" instead of some ambiguous thread name about victorious eagles. Then we will straightaway know that this is someone' s thread. Even then, can such a person own the thread and forbid others coming in? This is a public website. Many can come in see, and users can contribute according to the terms and conditions of Share Junction. These did not state that only the Founder of the thread dictates the ' house rules' . Even so, what these are is not made evident to us. And when made evident to us, it is done in such a rude and brusque way. If your ' Founder' is such a person - a brusque and ill-mannered person, I bet his thread followers will also learn and adopt his ways pretty quickly. For this reason and this reason only, we are not going to intrude on you anymore, save we ask Mary our greatest saint to pray for you daily. We do not want to become like him or like you and we ask you and him to go learn some manners before setting out to ' invest' . These are the more basics of investing. I pray you and Victor go learn some.

Sorry, I do not represent Victor, but allow me to share from my heart. But from what I see and feel, NASDAQ is now one wobbly index and those shares that represent it sama sama. If it hits your cut loss price already, just cut loss, no need to hold 3 years and suffer like anything. Mind you, I suffered 70% losses in 2000 in technology shares. They now look like that 20 years ago. You are normally in sing and hk counters, stay in those and avoid US counters, esp. NASDAQ. That is my friendly advice to you, I may be bold to tell you. As I said, there is a fatpanda manning ' The Traders' thread. This general is aided by robots she has developed. She published a NASDAQ index chart today on her thread.
