SHould be due to annouce vaccine hope from Russia and china na... All PPE n gloves counter pump so high, suddenly someone say vaccines approve sure have market reaction. Correct also right na... Just wait and see since good result, and rubber price also climbing.

Let STA finish their investors meetings with banks for them to get a better handle of STA plans as bank analysts will publish their TP to release to their customers eventually. As mentioned many times already, the rise in STA Sing is very dependent of STA rise as STA Thai is a pulic based company but only with dual listing. | ||||

Despite beating UOB KH TH' s forecasted Q2 Net Profit of THB 660mill by 65% to arrive at THB 1,094mill, UOB KH TH still maintains target price at S$1.85. Sounds unjustified. Then Citibank target price is S$3.14 which is 70% above UOB KH TH' s target price S$1.85. Such a big difference. UOB KH TH' s target price is based of SOTP valuation (separate gloves and rubber biz) but Citibank sees STA' s biz as consolidated. I personally think UOB KH TH' s target price is too low and Citibank' s target price too high. Currently $2.40 looks just about right to me. | ||||

To reach an analyst target price eg Citi Research at 71 baht althouht no time line mentioned, medium and long term investors must be able to withstand short term drawdowns from time to time whem mkt becomes too heated up. STA is not in a heated up selling zone from technical indicators. Neither has STA so far no broken up technical resistance at 29.50 baht. Still ranging for time being for STA between 23.40 and 29.50 baht Just keep faith in this highly undervalued stock whi0ch only a of time many investors will take notice. Good earnings will rule the day a matter of time and it may come sooner than exoected as STA climb a wall of short term worries!! Even with STGT further drawdown this morning, STA has held relatively well even closing for lunch at 26.75 baht higher than Fridays close of 26.00 baht. Patience is a successful hallmark of a buy and hold investor who has done his due deligence to dispel all short term noises!! | ||||

Long term depends on you. is just that the price just not justified their book value due to their earnings, so holding it for now will be alright. people are just fearing/disappointed the price does not go up as what they projected. Tomorrow market open with 1.35 or 1.4 should everything is ok, and if the china ' vaccine' is rumor, then they know they shouldnt sell.
