Clearbridge&rsquo s Business Agility and Regional Healthcare Presence Propels First Half to Record Financial Results
- Record revenue of S$21.46 million in HY FY2020 almost surpasses FY2019&rsquo s revenue of S$21.53 million as the Group leveraged on its regional operations, healthcare networks and distribution platform to harness the healthcare opportunities in the region
- Revenue growth driven mainly by strong sales of medical supplies, provision of COVID-19 testing related services in the Philippines and distribution of COVID-19 Antibody Test Kits as well as resiliency from the Group&rsquo s healthcare operations in Indonesia
- Net cash generated from operating activities, after adjusting for cash paid for income tax and interest expense, amounted to S$4.52 million in HY FY2020
- Balance sheet strengthened considerably with net assets increasing to S$58.27 million and cash at banks and short-term deposits increasing to S$16.52 million as at 30 June 2020
Since its listing on the SGX-ST in December 2017, the Group has quickly pivoted from a technology accelerator into an EBITDA-focused healthcare entity with a technology-agnostic approach, now achieving profitability which focuses on increasing the accessibility and adoption rate of precision medicine solutions via its 3 distinctive strategic business units (&ldquo SBUs&rdquo ) across Asia:
1. Medical centres and clinics
2. Healthcare systems and

To new who are new to Clearbridge. 1) Clearbridge is solid fundamentals. 2) CEO make impressive gains on his previous company 3) CEO business is very strategic and careful plan 4) See covid19 coming, he quickly diversify to test kit, when is primary core is cancer treatment etc. 4) Expanding his business overseas 5) Results shown and proven on this year P& L My advise is dont just look at the bottom line PROFIT & LOSS. Look at what attritubute to the losses and gains. Are they moving the ship in the right direction? Where there gains but HIGH debt? Theres alot of areas to look on, but to me as long as the fundamentals are solid and the determination and the position of the company is clear, that is something to look at. DO ALOT of homework. There' s other forummers saying noises for personal gains and motive. End of the day you decide! All the best! I am INVESTED in this, and reaping the rewards! |

Another testament to Jeremy and his team' s execution capabilities in the healthcare industry....take advantage of the opportunities. If you see other listed healthcare players....they are mainly in Singapore...but to have scaleable growth in revenue and profit in the healthcare industry, must have regional presence and this is one of Clearbridge' s strengths. |

Looks like CB can go up following Biol. Financial results of Biol very impressive. Revenue up by 600+%,+ve EBITDA and a small profit of 0.17k (after add back the one-off expense of 0.28k). So Monday, CB will follow Biol up! Huat ah! | ||||
