x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	You can never compare a glove manufacturer and a medical garment maker like Medtecs. Adding new glove capacity takes a long time. Usually it takes 1 year + from planning stage to start rolling out new lines. Whereas a medical garment manufacturer can ramp up production very quickly (possibly housing alot of new cutting & sewing activities in rented premises). Therefore, I hope you all can see why glove demand will exceed supply for another 1 to 2 years, even if vaccines are finally deployed in 2021/2022. Glove supply cannot be increased over night. It takes 1 year or more to have substantial new supply to alleviate the global shortage. A NITRILE glove line is 1.4KM long and goes up as high as 30 metres. One will need dedicated facilities/plants to house these lines.
