Can ref my earlier post: after IPO of it gloves unit , sri trang will be cash rich and have around ~SG$600mil in cash and still hold 51% of the glove unit shares. this will unlock its value for expansion and growth. expect that this year the profit will be tremendous, similar with the other glove counters. Latest qtr results, u can see sri trang profit at 854mil baht or SGD 40mil.. that is just in 1 qtr.. So for 1 year they could make SG 160mil.. the forward PE should then be less than 12X. much cheaper than top glove..forward PE is around 60X.. if the glove unit IPO shares is successful and and blockbuster, or shoot up (more than $1.50) after the IPO, sri trang will also move in tandem (as it still hold 51% of the share).. if sri trang thai shares goes up, sri trang shares which listed in sg will also go up.. thats the logical relationship.. as sri trang is the mother company... it also has thousand of acres of plantations... so this is also a bonus, as it means it has asset and also downstream activity will complement their upstrem activity.. they also paid dividend, and this dividend for next year could be much higher due to their record profit and cash position , so holding it i think is no problem.. but at last, it depends on the big players, will they start to warm up to this counter.. i believe judging by its volume, many start to notice this counter since 2 or 3 months back... the IPO and record profit is the twin catalyst it need to propel sri trang share to at least the SG$1.78 which most analyst have... good luck, and dyodd and swee and sawadeekap! | ||||

UG might just come crashing down anytime soon, way too overvalued. Don' t forget it crashed together and was restricted last time after the Bio/CB saga.
