I will caution too much optimism for SIA at this price point which is higher than the TERP of $4.16 thereabouts. Although there are less aircrafts grounded but still a big number of 94 aircrafts or 68% of their fleet are not flying. Those scheduled to fly are probably not fully loaded or are only doing cargo flights i believe. SIA will not failed but recovery will take time. I am concerned over the 1.8b shares jus credited into investors accounts and there will be some selling pressure at least for the coming week. Many may take profits as the costs for these new SHs may be around $3.6 -$3.7 region. Just my 2 cents. So trade w care. |

Pretty sure shortist are aiming this counter to take profit.
Even the bigboys are aiming to short. But if airlines stocks are on the rise.. its gonna be the same for SQ. May see a small dip but likely gonna recover by 2-3 days. But if we all hold on and dont sell.. good luck to shortist.. They may get burnt. Potential $5-5.50 in Aug when more countries open up.. Meantime... buy popcorn and watch SIA on monday 😁 |
