No. None of these happen Ah gong and heng zai say support means provide funding and ensure SIA not go bankrupt. They are not supporting the share price nor to protect retail shareholders who refuse to cut loss in early march.

This one we can agree to disagree.  (2) MCB yesterday range was: 0.001 to 0.019. Meaning there' s a good range. As long as u r not greedy, if DOW goes well or G sudden push, i think 0.003 or 0.004 or even 0.005 can sell and make some Kopi Lui. Note I am only Exposed 1k. Other trades cover this another day. This is more for fun since Medical so boring. Oils haha im vested liao.  (3) Everyone is SELLING SQ cause Tonight Results. People EXPECT shares to tank tomorrow. I agree 75% tank but todaymay have priced in the Bad Results since SQ and the media already try to prepare the ground for it. And it may also be saved by Dow. If Dow up, it may go up tomorropw or the days to come. But of course could be double whammy, dow down + SQ ultimate shit results. But even this position I accept. Those who bought yesterdaty from 0.002 to 0.019 + ALL the SQ shares + SQ rights LOSE even more than me. I go with the flow.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	On 2nd thoughts I doubt the banks are very much involved in this fund raising. The real lenders are the investors holding to SIA shares as at 12 May 5pm. Those who still have the rights share ultimately will hand over the $3 to the new fund. The $x.x b comes from the $3000 of each 1000 right share. on 21 May I doubt the rights share will go $0. There will be some residue value say 30c so the holder will not forget to subcribe the $3000 - cos the new mother share will be something like $3.30. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	don' t  like that la.  want to fire so many people. most industry has hit wall due to this sudden covid-19. few can plan for things like that. think they will show some recovery plan when things are clearer. with the major economies opening up, there is light. next 2 years is going to be tough. their conversion mcb price of 4.84 at 10 years is a conservative estimates of where it will be in 10 years. no certainty as things changed over time. after  this crisis the weaker competitors got wipe out and business can be easier. jet a1 cheaper, pend up business travel, tourist traffic. boeing, airbus stop work also meant lesser increased competition.   Oldman278      ( Date: 14-May-2020 11:31) Posted: I MAY consider to break my piggy bank just to buy 1 lot to pity them ONLY when they 1. x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	It' s quite straightforward Saran976z, if you buy the R or MCB R, you will have to pay an additional $3 or $1 respectively on top of the price you originaly paid for the purchase of these Rights and Mandatory Convertible Bonds.  e.g. bought R at S$0.65 subscribe to R at S$3, you' d have paid S$3.65 + whatever brokerage you paid for purchasing the R.
