feel hawker is unsustainable in today' s S' pore. no offence to anyone(i frequent hawker food since young as i middle class worker family), but i live in the west and find many hawker centres in this area selling malnutritious food in recent years e.g. fishball noodles only fishball and noodles(no vege or fishcake). chic rice - only chic and rice(no cucumber), cooked food stall same dishes EVERY day(dunno its skill issue or cost issue) & even take extra set of eat-in utensils(not ta-bao) for young children also gena scolded as hawker say he scared cleaner lose them ??? sigh ....  on the other hand, docs + garmen encourage healthy diet(eat variety of food/vege/lean meat/fish etc) which i agree. if ownself cook, must find strictly 9-5 job which is rare as diamond, if not, come home already K.O. how to cook ?  what' s the solution - save $ to migrate or what ?

looking fwd to the day all our telco cheapest plan(with reasonable talktime,data, SMS) can be SGD $9.9 and 1Gbps fibre broadband $19.90 !. will reduce our cost of living !!!
