x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	US 10yr bond yield has been trending down, maybe cld break 2.8% soon, especially if FED' s forward guidance cld turn out to be more dovish than expected.  SIBOR wld likely follow the decent.  Then bks' NIM wld likely be negatively impacted, n next yr results wldn' t be that rosy anymore.  But people with hsing loans cld get a positive shot.    DYODD as always though.

But of course bks like DBS are likely to be able to seek out opportunities outside sg (eg, in other ASEAR countries, as they said are beckoning with opportunities). Still, DBS' stellar results is partly attributed to its proactive NIM management, helped by a favourable interest-rate envt. That positivity wld probably be less forthcoming as the FED readjusts its monetary policy actions going forward. So, BBs wld find plenty of fodder to wack bk stocks down as a result. That's why I feel waiting for the FED's next signal helps cos if it's dovish, dumping of bk stocks cld help us pick them up at more attractive levels (<23?).
