Singpost has very be remain control by sg gov so outsider is no way to take control and reform.. Singpost is national asset to create high pay job for local ppl. Profit is secondary.. Short as much as possible with target of 0.50. Just my own opinion only...

I didn' t allude to anything. So what if alibaba is competing with SP? So many coys are competing with one another. At the end of the day, like I said, I' m prepared to wait for future results to see how/where the coy will be going forward. I don' t see why we shd keep dwelling on this.

SP net cash is only a very small percentage of its market cap.Now as of the most recent quarter, it is slight net debt. As of Sept 2018, net debt of $8.5 mil vs $70 mil (net cash) last quarter. Boustead has a net cash of ~50% of its market cap!!!

Pt is, all the speculative posts here, how many times have been accurate. On the other hand, there have been many instances of shares that suddenly tumble. How many of these have people been able to flag beforehand? This, to me, is the issue.

not easy to govemance unless evident proved 100% otherwise when people they guess and they think cannot classified as FAKE cos everyone has their right to think and guess moreover to some Authorities only news that favour them are real, if not in their favour are fake. i.e. Trump and ROC Cai Ying Wen as an example......

That' s why we talk abt governance. N in this SJ, there are so many funny posts going ard n nothng actually happened. How many times have we seen a speculative post materialising. Furthermore, the px does not suddenly tumble. It happened over so long when profitability dropped. So, there' s hardly any actual hint of anyone bailing out. In fact, the coy' s presentation refers to strategic relation with Alibaba.

when there' s no wind then surely no wave so there must be something behind which you and me and many brothers/sisters does not know otherwise SP px cannot be from 1.80++ to 0.96 within a short period........ by the time you and me know it' s real news the px may reach 0.60 liao ..... wait for real news to disclose will be too late to escape. sometime you have to guess guess and guess and take necessary action before real news publish. if not publish doesn t mean earlier guessing news are faked cos insiders are hidding the news under the carpet

I always think posting accurate info is the way to go in a public space. These days, we are confronted by so much fake news that almost anything can spark a wild fire n lead to something tragic. One case reported on BBC recently. A viral piece of fake news resulted in a mob wrongly attacking two people to death wrongly.

SP historical low was abt 60 cents < - that was when the market crashed. alibaba is Sub. holder. any reduction would be announced on sgx.

Thats how some retail investor do their analysis based on out of context information. BBs sell down at $1.38 based on their forecast. anal ysts do their forecast after major correction 2 months later after price has plunged, lowers consensus target. Some other anal yst jumps in at an even later time and lowers it even furthers. When retail investors read it, they think stock should drop to $0.50, lol. Thats how you see anal ysts always putting stock prices at TP $4.80 when the current price is $3. TP never hits anywhere close 99% of the time, especially when they are vested. People are either overly hyped or overly pessimistic and are easily influenced.
