Apple buy BEAT @ USD2billion Facebook buy Occulus @ USD3billion Razer IPO @ USD5billion If Creative really has cracked the holy grail of headphone, valuation could well be some where between the low and top end of these 3 companies. The Super X-Fi technology then processes the audio signal transmitted via headphones to better suit the listener&rsquo s ears.  &ldquo This is like switching from watching black and white TV to color. Creative plans to sell the Super X-Fi technology in the form of a dongle that can be connected to most popular headphones.  The dongle is likely to be priced at about US$150.  Super X-Fi works best with headphone models &ldquo certified&rdquo by Creative, but any set of headphones should see some improvement in audio quality.  Creative is also working on embedding its Super X-Fi technology directly into a range of consumer products.  Already in the pipeline is Super X-Fi software for smart phones, laptops, HDMI boxes and sound bars.  There will also be a Super X-Fi app to download content.  The compound annual growth rate of the world headphone market is at about US$9.6 billion in 2016 and will hit US$13.82 billion by 2023.

Those who into this gadget really particular with sound quality but for average people like us we will just make do with normal headphone. If it is a break thru technology, other brand headphone might use it. So I agree on the crazy jump on price but to be fair not going to agree on the question.
