The free float owned by public shareholders (excluding Temasek, MC, KC and Olam management) accounts for approximately 14.8% of the total issued share capital.As of end-August 2017, about 9.9% of total issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) was held by institutional investors. About 5% is really the free float. The American institutional investors referred to a large fund Ortis?. Sell when our govt sell.  Hot stock: Olam' s 5.6% share price surge prompts query from SGX TUE, OCT 10, 2017 - 3:35 PM The company replied to the query in June that it was not aware of any information which could explain the share trades, and that it was in compliance with SGX' s listing rules.  Temasek Holding' s units recently exercised warrants at S$1.09 to raise their stake in the company.
