Ezra is just the beginning.   Austgroup, ASL Marine, KS Energy, Mencast, Marco Polo, Nam Cheong, Pacific Radiance, Valianz, Vard Hldgs.etc. etc. could be in deep trouble. Most people think that just because the price of oil has improved that the sector is on a recovery. However, the coys involved have been so serverely crippled by massive debt they simply don' t have the resources to continue for another year or two of subdued activities. There will be more casualties. Be very careful  how you invest in this sector. I have and will continue to stay clear.

Whereas it won't be difficult for surge in commodity price to translate into enhanced profit margin for noble. Also, one is a fortune 500 company sponsored by sovereign fund, the other is relatively small. Still, anything is possible. So can't write off anything.
