x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Agree with you the 6c is not a lot ( aro 3% ) as GLP is NOT a dividend stock. ​ I rate it as a growth stock where capital gain is more important than dividend currently ( future might be changing) ​ The Fund mgt division is relativel new and growing rapidly. Japan and Jreit cld offer any surprise when more properties are put into this. ​ USA side is doing welll and esp with the strong USD against our sing ​ *** ALL the above does not factor in ANY potentiall investment from CIC or other consortiun.....so a stock at 75% of its book value is good value. ​ The 6c is really a bonus and good result just holding ( compare to bank interest of course ) LOL   zandlery      ( Date: 11-Nov-2016 12:31) Posted: 6c does not sound attractive at all.....especially compare to current price and compare to book value.

CIC and co maybe accumulating on the side since current prices are below book value . Makes sense accumulating at a discount instead of making a bid and paying book value (for now) since they do not need to declare till they've got 5% stake in the company. After accumulating 5 % they may make a bid at bookvalue or higher to become 2nd highest shareholder behind GIC and get seats on the board. Just my 2 cents....
