Its Singapore dollar bonds due in 2018 have dropped to about 41 cents from 89 cents three months ago, according to prices compiled by Bloomberg. pnuklis      ( Date: 18-Oct-2016 13:50) Posted: They want to change the terms of bond holders aggreement. They want protection in case of default by Ezra for payment of principle and interest. How can they get such protection with out offering any collateral of first claim? They must give some thing solid like property like Marcopolo gave to their bond holders for 2 years extention and 1.5% more interest. Ezra offering their vessels as guarantee is no meaning as there are no buyers to their assets and it is worth less. What ever property the company had must have been mortgaged already and they must be very low on cash. This sounds more trouble and stocks could take further hit in this saga.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	it means that thethey probably knew that they havedifficulties redeeming the notes due 2018, so they want to have discussion with bondholders on the possibililty of changing the terms of the notes, they may provide some goodies or incentive to entice bondholders to the changed terms as a form of rewards. they are holding informal discussion now so that it is not official binding as they do not want it to affect their share price and can also at the same time, understand what is the thinking of bondholders. conclusion: if they do not start getting projects, make profit and reduce their debt, the problem is only as good as being kicked down the road. One of these days, it may end up in a dead end.

As seen at Swiber and SWISSCO cannot sell any assets like ships and all remaining are all already pledged.

Some ppl just see their historical high price and think it is a bargain at this level, without really considering the reason behind tis drastic drop. There is always a reason behind all things. But if sudden declaration of bankruptcy caught them when their pants down. can see at Swiber thread that some keep ranting daily most probably are the one stuck until who know when....all their capital gone...
