I' d be more comfortable to say 1 - 2 yrs instead of 1 yr. The important thing is the intent n earnestness with which they are working to steady the ship n turn things ard, like a lot of us have said. DYODD as always.

In order to achieve 100% return, assuming price bought is 15cents, is very likely in 1-2 years with oil market rebalancing and with its stronger order books. After dropping forom $2 to $0.13, alot of shorts have to be covered as well. Well some bbs have already accumulated at low prices waiting for Vard to weather the current turmoil conditions. |

40c is achievable in a year' s time or may go private before that... my reasons are Already wound up the loss making yards, diversification, order book getting better and strong parent support... though high debt, parent co is supporting well with good management... perhaps worth the risk comparing many lousy ones in STI...

Share ur view. This is why some coys don' t survive when things get difficult while others who are able to proactively re-invent themselves will re-emerge stronger. Vard is to me definitely from the latter category.

for short term.....no way of recovery especially if recent run up......it just speculator pump up the price on news..........
no matter quarterly report show positive or not......the overall sentiment of this kind of counter not going to pickup soon....... not talking down because my portfolio have this kind of stock too.......sometime have to admit the true

-wind down its loss making brazil yards -diversify to build other vessels other than OSVs thanks to its parent. hopefully it can keep up its order book momentum. |
