With the current imparment of assets companies must write down the BV or else it will be like Ezra where the banks dont believe the current share price can hold or is its worth. See they took more than double the share value to lend secured credit of share pledge. Same is the situation with Swiber as well as Vallianz who is sitting with so many new buildings which cannot be deployed.

Anyway, if any of them goes, O& G in SGX will be a nightmare. Let' s see next few months, whether more impairments will be made to their books. Let' s hope everyone come clean so that people will have faith in the reported numbers and long term investors will come back. Else, it will always be doubtful.
