So the train system break down in fact is more complicated than we think, which make gov decide to privatised smrt and hopefully can resolve the gap in between service operator and lta. So in fact all these faulty train is still commuting passenger day by day and under monitor. Too bad it is quality issue. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	SMRT deal is over before it even start, management indicated company cannot be profitable when lta pull the plug on monopoly. Retail investors only choice is sign off the 1.68 offer and be done with it. This deal be completed in 4q, smooth smooth.

Because from the bi-annual dividends that i get from SMRT, more than cover all my public transport expenses every year.

Suprising thing is I was in London many years ago... keep complaining abt tube shutdown due to repairs, signal failure or strike .. tell my collegue in UK say SG MRT no disruption... when i come back... all these MRT issue surface.... recently went back to UK again .... I didnt experience any service disrupton while I am there..... This is a 100+ year system vs a 20+ year system. Anyway dont think Temsek will offer 1 sgd for SMRT if current offer is rejected .. i dont think it will be rejected.
