So right now, we as minority shareholders can get together and vote a restounding " NO" to the buyout for this good denfensive stock to remain listed.   SMRT pays good dividends and the dividends provide me with a yearly free rides of the trains and buses. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Remember 2008 finanical crisis?? I remember SMRT and Comfort Delgro hold well while all the rest drops in price. I remember that SMRT was around $1.50 at that time.  Because this counter is a very good denfensive stock. It makes good business sense for Temasek to buy this stock, since their portfolio drops in value and they need something to shore it up.
