They will get what they sow. waters      ( Date: 27-Apr-2016 00:44) Posted: Sembcorp Marine (SMM SP)          SELL  Price/Tgt: S1.805 / S$0.90         Mkt Cap: US$2,814m         52-wk avg daily value: US$4.6m         1-Yr Hi/Lo: S$3.05/S$1.295  Hercules Highlander Order Hanging in the Balance  Analyst(s): Nancy Wei / Foo Zhiwei         Tel:  (65) 6590 6628/6626  What&rsquo s New?  - Hercules lodged an SEC filing on 18 April, citing that it had entered into a Forbearance Agreement with creditors for a period of 10 days (up till 28 Apr).  - The Agreement comes about on Hercules' failure to comply with a few affirmative covenants under its credit agreement.  - As a result of entering the agreement, Hercules has now been blocked from accessing the escrow account which holds the final payment amount due to the shipyard (SMM) for its rig,  Hercules Highlander.  Our Take  - The Hercules Highlander is a US$236m jack-up being built at Sembcorp Marine' s shipyard, with delivery due in 2Q16. Payment structure for this is likely to be on a 20:80 basis. Cancellation risk for this order was initially minimal, despite Hercules Offshore entering Chapter 11 in Aug last year. This was due to the asset being ring-fenced and was backed by a chartering contract with Maersk, at an average dayrate of US$225k/day, higher than current average of US$100k/day.  - The creditors have blocked Hercules' access to funds in the escrow account on two minor covenant breaches. Assuming that they fail to reach an agreement, it becomes uncertain what would become of the rig order. In the current poor jack-up market, it would be difficult for the yard to find a new buyer without taking a substantial hair-cut, on top of having to make further loss provisions.  Valuation/ Recommendation  Maintain SELL and target price of S$0.90. Our target price is based on 1.0x 2017F P/B, and incorporates the target price impact of asset impairments totalling S$550m. Our estimates does not include for any possible loss provision or asset impairment relating to the Hercules order. Maintain SELL call, driven on two factors: a) high risk of additional provisions and, b) rising gearing, which in the event of cancellations might force a cash call. If semb marine just did a " one day about turn" near 1.73 just now, then later 5pm short covering may bring it up abit more to 1.76 ~ 1.78. So likely no 1.7 for today ... maybe tomorrow or later days if US drop big big then

But it reported provisions made ... so jeep 2 hand below 1.8 to see if later 5p any short covering? If drop further, can buy more near 1.7 for dividend also not too bad (although still bad)
