It good to bring humour to this forum when the market is bad. Just went in for the dividend of 8c which will be paid out soon. Since M1 mentioned the outlook is stable for 2016, even if i' m stuck, i think it won' t drop too much, and will be getting 7% dividend per year. Unlike Reit where the capital gain is less (more of stable dividend), M1 at this price offers both yield equivalent to Reit, but also potential of capital gain when the market recovers .... potential to recover above $3 (the peak is around $3.8 if i' m not wrong). Since it has came down so much and so fast, there might also be possibility of technical rebound.

It' s very good. I thought the 2% npat down was due to handset sales more than anything else? Div yield at this level is fantastic - walk into a local bk n ask for their FD rate n u instantly collapse. Unfortunately, I simply think there' s too much manipulation in the local stock mkt. Sorry if I was mischievious.

If you look at their FY report, it' s quite healthy, and they are expecting it to be stable for 2016. Furthermore, i believe they have grown alot from asset perspective since 2007. It' s hard to believe the price and come down so much within weeks ......

Fully agreed. Based on the FY report, the business looks stable, and there is nothing alarimg to warrant such drastic drop in share price. The current price which offers close to 7% looks attractive. Operating revenue for FY2015 increased 7.5% to S$1,157.2 million Net profit after tax increased 1.5% to S$178.5 million Based on current economic outlook and barring unforeseen circumstances, M1 anticipates stable performance for the year 2016.

Final dividend of 8.3 cents + interim 7 cents Total yield of 6.8% at 2.25 this is really gd price for a defensive play. The yield is much higher than the other 2 telcos
