Now the problem spread beyond NOL shoreline, it hit at all the down stream players who benefit from NOL. I wanna see if the upstream US/Japan exporters would also get hit too lol. THis remind me of lehman brother which US let it go bankrupt thinking it is just another investment bank which eventual lead to global financial crisis. THink LYK from his grave come back to inform PSA of this lol. |

We got lots of engineers ( foreign talents ) who are good at following instructions and good coming up with quick fixes which make the bosses "super happy". Our boss's mantra is cheap and quick solution....what happen next, bo sammy chap as its other's problem. Sighed

singapore got no talent on the engineer side of thing, all wanna be financial manager. That why our transport system start failing and noone know how to fix it lol, 20 years of demolishing our engineer expertise now haiving it toll on all transport mode soon SIA would see crack too lol. |

That's why having a top quality manager is important....give him a crap company, he will change it into a blue chip. Give a blue chip company.....a lousy manager then he will turn it into a crap company. Scholar doesn't automatically become top manager, just look around and see how many turn out to be one?

They also fetch better price too. But really how much is the port terminals worth, all investors should know. Independent banker should evaluate it and disclose to all, that would 100% sink all hope of maersk and cma to buy NOL on the cheap side lol. CMA migth even had problem securing bank support on NOL sale since it might involve billions of loan and uncertainty of sale falling through due to bid not meeting temasek expectation. By the way expectation had gone up a notch after PSA made that call. |

If temasek don sell NOL for top dollars, then a national investigation should be called to check on the deal to see if any insider profit from the deal lol. THis would make it even more harder for CMA to buy NOL after PSA international made the spinoff call. PSA reputable organisation, they don make this type of call unless they are damn sure those port terminals NOL had would fetch a higher price in open market. More spice and drama kick in to NOL sale drama, getting more interesting. Next big shocker would be the inclusion of japanese players who would rock the party with absurd premium bid price which they usually do lol. |

Deal stuck with temasek but no stuck with remaining 33% also no use. U need to get 95% to wipe clean the M& A and recent example of tigerair also facing issue of fail privatisation due to low bid price as suggested by SIAS.

The port terminals portfolio  is worth billions taken in consideration of inflated asset value due to US QE for the last 5 years. that why the former ceo suggested seaparate spin off. Well i highly recommended just exit the damn container shipping business and sell off everything piece meal then u get ur fat fat $3 dividend. |

The news from PSA is irrelevant for now.  CMA has already struck a deal with NOL (else why asking for financing).  The price has already been fixed.  What the news can suggest is that perhaps the price is high, but not that high.  I have a feeling it wont be done at $1.78, maybe more at $1.6x range, 20% premium on NAV of $1.35. |
