KLSE have been holding well last 1 to 2 weeks, although there are some falls, they also have some rises.
Our poor STi is now well into the deep 2nd week of continuous falls without any chance for reprieve. |

Yes rates will rise in the US and globally - but unlikely to be a steep one given global malaise. In the past, I remember the Fed would raise at every meeting during a rate rise cycle. Sometimes even 50 pts at a go. Doubt this will be the case going forward. Frankly part of me is hoping for sharp rises as I want to see a removal of the 10% ABSD in SGP for multiple property owners as that is the thing that bugs me most..,

Yes...a good point esp after more meltdowns to most major markets due to this terrorist attack on top of the rate hike fears, some smart alexs' will come out to say that Fed will continue to stay put on their low rate and also see more "EQ" for EU, Japan and China since their markets get whacked lower. If this is the case....then the Xmas rally may start early.

But will this persuade the Fed to stay its hand and the ECB to flood Eurozone with cheaper money - that's why trading and investing is always a 2-way street haha
