Gona see what china gona do about the proposed merger of cosco and cscl, that would lead to more clarification on the alliance configuration in O3 and CHYKE, G6 also might see membership changes too. Today STI fall below 2800and offically entered a bear market so take care and stay safe, anything can happen and shit would send STI down another 10%.

In future Japan can play more active role in supporting US to undermine China rise in asia and when there is surge in military demand, they would need reliable logistic provider and that is APL. So speculation that the black horse buyer for NOL might be a Japanese liner who got easy access to credit and willing to pay big premium to NAV/book value. Recent example is olam 20% stake at over 60% premium ot it book value of 1.70, mitsubishi pay  2.75 for the 20% with temasek making a small killing as they buy over majority of olam stake at 2.25. This show that temasek is not stupid to sell cheap, they also like u wanna make money and not losing money. They pay over 2.80 per share for 37% NOL stake in 2004 and right offering 2008, total US$2B in access. Just enjoy the NOL train show and watch from sideline. Too risky to trade as uncertain  global economy would doom us if we rush into trading. We are kind of at the edge of another recession when fed hike rate and china hard landing double whamming.

So, your investment will still be $100 million but share at a lower 30% price. This is why nobody with a huge % of shares, will hedge his own shares as that is a stupid idea.
