Hi MissLady,

In all honesty I used to be obsessed with dividends which kind of made me invest in this but now I am learning how to read up on company news like these. I haven' t done any research into this Greater Taichung expansion (like seriously) so I don' t think I am in any position to offer anything due to my complete lack of knowledge.

Which is why I am starting to read up on all the different company views and slowly doing my research in my free time too.

(1) PROPOSED SALE OF THE TRUSTEE-MANAGER
On 25 January 2016, Macquarie APTT Management Pte. Limited, as trustee manager of APTT (the &ldquo Trustee-Manager&rdquo ), announced that it has been informed by its sole shareholder, Macquarie Group Holdings (Singapore) Pte. Limited (&ldquo Macquarie Singapore&rdquo ) that it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Dynami Vision Pte. Ltd (the &ldquo Purchaser&rdquo ) whereby Macquarie Singapore will divest its entire interest in the Trustee-Manager to the Purchaser (the &ldquo Proposed Transaction&rdquo ). The completion of the Proposed Transaction is subject to approvals from relevant Taiwanese regulatory bodies and lenders to APTT&rsquo s sole investment, TBC. For more details refer to APTT&rsquo s website or the SGX website. The Trustee-Manager will make further announcements via SGXNet as and when it is made aware of material developments.

&ndash All requisite regulatory licenses to operate in the new coverage areas have been secured and marketing of broadband services commenced
&ndash However, full commercial operations have been delayed as a result of the delay in securing content rights to deliver cable TV services in the greater Taichung region
&ndash TBC is working actively with the content providers to secure the necessary content rights in 2016
&ndash The network expansion into greater Taichung is anticipated to be completed in 2016

Well on one hand it' s good, the other hand maybe not so, if they do not generate enough cash and have to borrow just to pay for the promised dividend. Don' t forget the money they earn from operating activities have to be used to finance the reparation of equipments as well as paying off older loans.

So it' s up to you to decide if it' s good or not. For me, I am just so-so since nothing has really gone wrong yet and the fact that Temasek is a major shareholder says something.

% div yield = Total div yield / Current price * 100%

You' ll get 12.03% (2dp).

That' s one way to find.

There was a blog post on whether APTT' s distribution is considered sustainable:

I' m vested but just making sure that their borrowings or expenditure will not affect the distribution so as to believe that I am still getting a stock that is currently worth its price.

yeah you got a point there, so decided to sell my remaining shares at 0.480. so in the end i think will have made 2 or 3K profit overall where last week i had 14K realized and 8K unrealized at a certain point. 2 or 3K in stead of 22K, it hurts...

but always look at the bright side of life : i still made profit and most of all : ANOTHER LESSON LEARNED : DONT BE GREEDY AND CASH IN ON TIME !!!!

Well my situation is similar to yours: I entered at 0.60 yesterday and quickly got out at 0.56 on the same day.

What I recommend is to sell off the stock now but I am not sure if you' d be happy to even lose that much from 0.595 to current price.

As it seems now it looks like a strong reversal trend to me, 2 strong black candles in a day of equal volume suggests to me that it is now a on a downtrend, however you interpret is entirely up to you.

Results should be out in August 2016 looking back on the past year.

i sold most of my 0.507 this morning with minimal profit (at least there was profit !), but still stuck with a lot of 0.595 i bought end of last week. was too greedy, should have taken profit then. now making big big losses on this part.

now also considering to add some at 0.465 coz i still believe this one has potential when i think about the positive posts earlier. only concern now after reading the comments on fake posts : which ones are the fakes ? the positive ones or the ones driving the price down ? anyone knows when results will be out ? result should be very positive considering the recent news release with the record output. so price should shoot up again then ? BB just trying to bring price down so buy in cheap before next positive announcement ?
