I personally think that at this point, there is no information on how this new company is doing. Latest quartely update is lack in financial information. So all analyst are just guessing.

My guess are :

a) Seatrum market cap is about $ 8.7 B
b) There is a $ 20 B order book, takes about 3 years to complete
c) Assuming net profit margin is about 10% => $ 2 B for 3 years and about $ 700 M a year

This means that the estimated PE for the company is about 12.4 X.

Cheap ? Not really. YZJ Ship building PE is about 9.3 X and it is a proven company with many years of profitability.

So for Seatrum, quite a bit had been factored in for the order book and future earning already. Obviouly, if they show numbers on more order win, higher profitability, shorten project cycle and synergy (translate to higher profitability), it will help.

Until then, I think every one is guessing.

Just my view.

I think a few things will happen :
a) Performance update and out look - likely in May
b) Share consolidation maybe 10 : 1 - Dont know when
c) STI component stock review - Jun 23
With each, comes with opportunity.

You have to understand the two earlier rounds of right issue have caused serious damage to some people' s investment. Some are thinking of right issue in the day and dreaming of it in the night. Everything they say or do involves right issue. Sembcorp Marine has caused irreparable damage to some of their shareholders. This is the reason the whole of the previous management and board have been dumped, including this CFO. They always say left to pursue personal interest. Nicecway of saying they you have been kicked out.
