They are still struggling to improve on their financial engineering to win more contracts and might be abit challenging on China' s side where got time to talk about hydrogen.

if they can improved their filtration technology to filter hydrogen from biomass gas. this is a gold mine company that may also convert world biomass waste into world hydrogen source for fuel cell. and other hydrogen applications.

The trendline may not hold though, u so confident. Cf just need a rights issue to bring it down...

That 0.245 is near the lower trend line where CF will be heading.   Still no sign for a recovery yet.

Why u target 0.245?

share my charting of CF for reference. This is weekly chart. In the past, there are three times big vol. It is definely not retailer investor. I dare say this is last washing. Cos the vol of weekly chart can' t be cheating. Planing to make full position once at/below 0.245.

My logic is mother PA financing, feed son CF. CF becomes good, PA is also outperformance.

Welcome different points!!!

What u ve just said doesnt make sense.

You see: if CF rights, PARD will subsrcibe. means that money will still flow out of their pocket.

Borrow money to CF, money will still flow out. As PARD owns close to 80%, it really doenst make a difference.

2 possbilities: either pard help to pay copeinca loans by lending money to cf at low interest rate OR cf having a rights for pard to subscribe?

Pard own loan note interest rate is high. 8.75%. Rights likely

flyfox      ( Date: 27-Nov-2014 15:02) Posted:

Yeah i agree though, i cant understand why retailers are aggressively selling down the stocks. It is good to redeem the bonds as the interest rate is too high.

Anyway there is only a float of about 10%+ in the market which can possible explain why the market is not efficient. I am only afraid there there are some bad insider news that the sellers know beforehand.

Flyfox, reading through the reports, it does show that they are doing the right thing to raise funds to redeem Copeinca Bonds.  Market sentiment was weak and management deemed a bond coupon above 10 percent as " expensive," CreditSights said. It does seem like the s^k is behaving irrational at this moment. It was a good thing that I let it go early. It is attractive now but will wait for it to settle. All I can say is interesting ......

China Fishery Sets March Deadline to Redeem Peruvian Unit' s Debt

By David Yong    Nov 24, 2014 12:16 PM GMT+0800

China Fishery spent more than $782 million taking over Copeinca last year, giving it control of the biggest anchovy quota-holder in Peru and the world' s third-largest fishmeal producer. Copeinca' s $2.5 billion of assets as at the end of March made up more than 90 percent of the group' s total, filings show.

The Hong Kong-headquartered company may raise funds by selling local-currency bonds in Hong Kong  or Singapore by December, CreditSights Inc. analysts said in a report published Oct. 23 that was based on meeting they had with China Fishery executives. Market sentiment was weak and management deemed a bond coupon above 10 percent as " expensive," CreditSights said.

Btw just to ask,

Will ChinaFishery have another rights? I read somewhere that PAIH conduct rights to fund the Copeinca Bonds so that CF don' t need to for out money or something..

But just wanna know how this makes sense.

Alternatively, i thought PAIH will fund PARD rights, PARD rights will use to fund CF rights...

no choice, they need to conserve cash. They can happily give dividends. Since pacific andes is majoirty shareholder, they are more happy to distribute dividends to themselves. but they ll suffer with alot of debt and lack of money to redeem bonds and hence debt will never go down.. Gotta think long term. CF is currently not in a perfect shape but at least need they are doing something about it...

Qanghoo      ( Date: 24-Nov-2014 09:53) Posted:

As expected, dividend burnt!

edwinjup      ( Date: 23-Nov-2014 14:47) Posted:

Do rem..fish net debt to equity ratio still around 89.7%....and they target 75% in 3 yrs....so may need to wait long long unless they willing to let go some copeinca share ...

possible to turn out to be a loss?

Well Benjamin Graham say that there is no good or bad stock, it' s just buying at a bargain or not.

This stock has alot of debt and many risk ahead, but at this price, there' s quite abit of margin of safety, looking at book value and pe ratio
