I believe capital will continue to maintain the buyback price around $3, until the short seller collapse itself. It have already mention Net tangible Asset per share, they are ready for the challenge. As after deducting the intangible and liabilities it is still more then existing price.

Relax, it would not be 1 or 2 buy back.You just go to the SGX,short selling, you will observe the consistency of short selling of around 33% for this counter, it is an agent short selling, not individual.I believe they are ready to fight back before the share buyback proceed.

You seems to have forget the Cosco DP3 drillship currently still under arbitration in London. If overcommit a date an can't delivery in time and Cosco might end up in the same case as DP3.

Perhaps the reason is that YZJ's order book is nearing full capacity and hence the longer time needed. As investor, personally I am more concern about a shipbuilder delivering the products as stipulated and at a good margin and NOT how long it takes to deliver. As long as the ship owner is agreeable to the delivery date, I don't see an issue with that. |

Just like both of you, I like YZJ consistent dividend payout and also it is .in the revovery industry. It seem like the fear buyers have disapeared lately due to overall bad market and price is beaten down by profit taking. Should consider to protect our profit( or at least partly) and come back when the sky is clear. ... remenber nobody can sell at the peak !

It didnot fall below 1400 for win loss boundary and continur it uptrends show that shippers will continue to benefit for the higher rate. Thus more ship building order might be expected.

I am out at 0.94 yesterday. As check yesterday at around 3pm, the volume was not even 1/2 of the previous day and also seems support are low.

I think more a panic seller, as not only Yang, many other counter also saw this sharp drop. Dow index saw a cross at high point and Nasdaq and S& P saw a hangman all at high point, many might predict that the games is over and start selling and drive the panic sell, but this morning it show a reverse, all three index break the resistance and reach new high.

If you look at the chart, there was a surge with high volume (abt 25 millions) 5 days ago. I think that day must has draw in a lot of retail players which should had paid up on 11 Nov but for those who decided to contra off, they have to sell latest by today. My guess is most of the sellers today are those who brought it on 6 Nov. (so far, today traded abt 10 millions) |

Yup 8cts HKD is consider quite generous already. The licensing department budget overrun actually only discover somewhere 1Q last year, thus it is only start reflecting on 2Q financial report. They have did something that is not a common practice, that is restate the financial loss to previous year, but in actual fact to them FY 2012 when they declare a divident of 17HKcts the earning per share is 44.4HKcts, that equate to 38% of their earning. But in actual scenario in FY 2013, what being seen by the company earning should be 32.8HKcts - 11HKcts (Loss due to licensing department) -8.3HKcts (loss restate due to licensing department) = 13.5HKcts per share, thus a 8HKcts to the company for this year earning should be equate to 59.2% of their earning.
Don't forget all the planning was still based on unknown overrun until after 1Q FY 2013. What I admire is the way that the company handle such situation, decisive, close down the unearning department immediately. And Also once this closing down issue, Chief Technical Officer was ask to go. Some company might just transfer the CTO to other department. But Valuetronics decision show a clear understanding of business world. The unnotice overrun must be due to false reporting or poor management, if the company allow such chief to stay then the company other department will also failed.
Especially when China PMI continue to increase I believe valuetronics will benefit from this trend and the way they take care of their share holder with proper amount of divident payout also make me clasified this counter under my divident payout porfolio.
