The media and property group said in a first-quarter business update that print advertisement revenue declined 36 per cent from the year-ago period. The 45.6 per cent year-on-year growth in digital circulation revenue was also partially offset by the 8.1 per cent in digital advertisement revenue.

Is it bad ? The advertisement revenue drop . But digital circulation revenue up 45.6%.

No profit guidance given. Print ads and print circulations continued to drop, now don' t even give breakdown of newspaper print chart..... They preferred a slow death, rather than dealt with it.....

Yah..generally, what people see first is how well or bad the share price is doing as an indicator...

Loke or no Loke, if they have faith and believe AEM' s share price has value to be unlocked, they should be in and not out.....

AEM owes it' s success to Mr Loke and his Novos Tellus.
What to expect going forward, now that Loke no longer helming.

U can also buy it from Medi-Ya

bystander1965      ( Date: 18-Jan-2021 11:24) Posted:

Kobe beef are much more expensive.
If you are game for it, just buy A5 grade Wagyu beef from the internet. Sub SGD100 for 100-200g.
Heat up a pan (hot hot one), just before you pan fry it, pad salt and pepper on the meat surfaces and chuck it into the pan. Depending on the thickness, sometimes 1/2 minute (for a thin one like a few mm thick) to 1 minute on each side is enough.(This is like medium rare)
No sauce needed.

Don' t season it. Put on the salt and pepper and pan fry straight-away. Otherwise water will form and you will get a grayish beef and it toughens when you fry it.

Bro,

Agreed. What we pay is what we get...Personally, I like Gyu-kaku, Angus House, Wolfgang & Bedrock. Of course, if money is no issue, go for Morton' s or CUT or Fat Cow..Unforgettable KOBE beef I ate at Fat Cow..

Have u tried Fat Belly at Serene Centre? Very good too :)

wavehunter      ( Date: 18-Jan-2021 10:53) Posted:

Bro tongphip,

My question is - to get that kind of premium steak I had last nite, is it such that the only way to get it is to pay $158++ for a 150 gms portion?
Meaning...at $80 to $100 even...also cannot get?
Beef lovers who have hunted down good steaks all over Spore will be able to tell me where to get good steaks at $50 to $80.
Jack' s Place steaks were what I used to have. But I was told that real steak lovers will say the steaks at Jack' s Place are as hard as rocks.
I suppose the starting point is not to look for just steaks, but only Wagyu steaks. And then from there, hunt down all the eateries which offer
Wagyu steaks and then read reviews or ownself try to know which ones offer the best value for money and how much lower are their prices
compared to The Fat Cow Pte Ltd.

Depends on what you want and your budget. If looking at something affordable, there are many choices such as Jack' s Place, Astons and iSteaks..

wavehunter      ( Date: 18-Jan-2021 10:20) Posted:

After tasting premium beef for the very 1st time and knowing now what good beef is, the next question I ask myself is - do I really
have to pay this type of top dollars to get such beef? I mean... even say beef which is 80% as good as the $158++ one I had last
nite but at a much lower price of say $60... I may consider. The most expensive steak I ever ordered was a Wagyu from Astons
which was selling at $43. It was just so-so. Hmmm.... $60 to $80 can buy me a good beef steak mare? Must spend $158 then
can get mare? Hmmm...
