x 0 		China and Russia are in broad agreement on the situation in Ukraine, the Russian foreign ministry said Monday after telephone talks between the countries' top diplomats.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in a phone call noted " broadly coinciding points of view of Russia and China over the situation that has developed in the country and around it," the ministry said in a statement.

The top diplomats " agreed to continue close contacts on this topic," the statement said.

Olam's Q2 net profit down 12.5%


Agri-commodities trader saw earnings fall 12.5 per cent, on lower revenue, a net loss in fair value changes in biological assets, and higher depreciation and amortisation charges.

Net profit tumbled to S$134.9 million, down from S$154.1 million a year ago.

Revenue slipped 8 per cent to S$4.5 billion.

The completion of five initiatives such as the sale and leaseback scheme its almond orchards in the US helped to release cash of S$134.1 million.

I agree with you.   Rosesyrup and now Noblerose is a shameless troll and now possibly banned for having so many nicks and posting so many untruths.

If you even bother to read through her postings, you will notice that she only posts biased postings, always skewed to her own benefit, whether long or short.  

Forummers, please be very aware of rosesyrup and her latest incarnation noblesyrup on her tricks.   When she is long, she will talk up the stocks. Then when she has sold already, she will talk bad about the stock so that she can buy low again.

Similarly, when   she has shorted a stock, all sorts of bad news and bad vibes about the stock will come from Noblerose or her multiple clones.

x 0 		LionGold continues to bleed as 3QFY14 net loss came in at $11.5m versus a net profit of $7.6m, taking 9MFY14 net loss to US$53.8m (9MFY13 net profit: $0.6m). Revenue dipped 2.6% to $34.2m, weighed by the group's PRC manufacturing operations which saw revenue decrease US$3.1m due to lesser units of products with higher value being shipped out, a reduction in selling price and the depreciation of the USD. Meanwhile, $14.9m of the quarter's revenue was attributable to gold mining operations. The vast disparity in bottom-line was largely due to Other income which decreased by S$19.9m to US$2.0m, led by fair value losses in the quarter and a one-off gain on disposal of an associated company in 3Q13.
