*Falcon Energy
- FY17 loss deepened US$121.2m (FY16: US$5m), mainly ditched by US$153.1m of impairments.
- Revenue sank 56% to US$106.8m on reduced workload in the oilfield and drilling services division and lower utilisation and charter rates in the marine division.
- Gross margin contracted 8.8ppt to 11.7%.
*note : company will run of cash within 3Q.

Those who holding on , please also take note that there an impending case from ambank against falcon due to no payment of loan due totalling usd$20 million. Company has only $10 million in cash . Rights is the only option as they have just renegotiate the bonds .
Just sharing info for those who are not aware of falcon financial situation .

Thanks for sharing this gem. See the charts and it?s looking good . Financials wise seems to be improving from last Qtr. Niche player as Not many companies into sweet potato . CSF largest in China for sweet potato. Another factory starts operation so seems like more revenue for them. No debt issues . Can see target at 0.15. Will load up now and sell in a few months .

When you talk like this , everyone knows you are talking nonsense . Since August 17 , they have announce contracts won till date totaling more than usd $300 million. It?s a positive cash company ($106 million) in their bank account and has debt to equity ratio of 0.36x.( where to find ) Upcoming FY announcement should be good and I expect dividend to resume . Please refer to their website for contracts won , cost savings implementation and cash flow statement . A decent stock to hold for the Long run . Not for contras .

But P& L weak like all the other O& M companies.
Decling service income, ultra thin nett profit margin, maybe this is why they managed to get so much job!
Share price already doubled as compared to some of its competitors, so market have already full priced in the stronger balance sheet.

I think we are going to see a lot of blood especially those Traders and contra players . The 50 million notes is due September and plus the usd$20 million owe to ambank, I don?t think falcon can survive this u less there is a white knight willing to save them .

Kangaroo , weir if sunmons don?t settle in a few days or weeks but once the court grant the injunction to suspend falcon , good luck then . You see Linc Energy you will know . People talk like you guys saying Linc will survive and market see otherwise . Then the sudden suspension killed so many shareholders .

Maybe this push by BB is for them to exit their shares and those buying it when suspend will get the shock of their lives . You can read the link I posted . If they cannot pay , trading will be suspended . It?s on the sgx announcement .

They owe ambank more than us$20 millions but their cash and equivalents is only about sgd$10 mil. EPS worsen from -0.061 to -0.152 . The biggest problem is they don?t have enough cash to repay the loan and has been sued by ambank so this company may close shop anytime . Good luck to those holding it .

Actually I don?t know what?s the hype over this share . It has been issued writ of summons by ambank and can go bankrupt anytime as it doesn?t have enough money to pay off the ambank loan. Good luck to those holding it .

Your report is on the 18/8/2017. Since then they have won new contracts and the shares has been upgraded . This company is in good hands and I expect more contracts coming now that oil has hit usd$64.

I think the report by cimb was before the new contracts Won. They just got a few contracts totaling more than $200 million. Can check their announcement .

Would agree as the company is in great financial health . With the hundreds of millions of contracts , we should start seeing dividend in the coming FY. Cheers . Still very cheap to buy now .

Thank you for your humble and constructive opinion of this stock. This stock was at the highest of about $2 (IPO 2007 :$1.32) during 2008 before the financial crisis happened in 2009 followed by the oil crisis in 2014. She has survived through these 2 periods with a strong balance sheet with a team of good management and recently has won abour $200 million contracts. The P/B value is standing at 0.48 which equate to NAV 0.33 cents and the PE is about 13 (< 15). This is a good buy awaiting the true potential value to be unlocked. I believe she will achieve 0.50 in matter of time when the oil hit $70 (on track to recovery) and there is more room for the bull to run (low interest rate and inflation) before it crashes. I would lock this gem in the cabinet and will visit this site again in 1H 2018 :-) WL...Best of Luck..Yours friendly positive Aussie mate :-)

Futures for WTI delivery for Feb 2018 already hitting usd57.63(CME Group) . Now that oil is at $63-$64 , profit is definitely in for mermaid . Expect more contracts coming in . The most important aspect is this company is the best O and G company among others to invest in . It has zero debt ( means no share dilution and debts to repay) and it?s a net cash company(has cash on hand to make acquisitions if any) once in profit , expect them to resume dividend paying days) . The Best Bet for the O and G recovery due to oil. |
