Let see UOB Kay Hian holdings of Hafary from 2010 till 2013.

2010 - No data (guess is 185k)

2011 - 185k (trade around 15-20cts)

2012 - 203k  (trade mainly around 25cts)

2013 - 3123k  (trade around from 27cts to a high of 52cts before dropping to 18cts)

UOB KayHian then called for TP 33cts.

Hm.   Two possiblities here:

- UKH bought high and need to push up the prices to reduce losses

- UKH pickup at low and want to push up prices to reap more $$$.

I don' t know which one.   Either way they are not calling a buy with the intention to help you make money.

Okay the above is on the agenda of analyst report part.

But QT business isn' t the same as Hafary so may have a different fate.

One thing to note is QT has EDB backing and EDB has invested in it (using taxpayer money I suppose).   It hasn' t pay much tax.....because it is still loss-making and huge.   My view is EDB will not let it toh so easily.   I believe this is an important point note.   I really don' t think the IPO proceed can last long enough unless their sale improve hugely.   If comes next year they still cannot generate enough cash to cover future cost will they seek more fund-raising exercise?   Let give them one year to prove themselves.

One thing I really don' t like about QT is it has no ceiling and floor price.   It may have huge potential but huge accumulated losses and negative NVA and NTA atm.   You never know when it is severely over-valued because it is  severely over-valued right at the beginning.

Ok now back to UOB KayHian.   First UKH is their placement agent.   Second, UKH has 26mil shares which I believe they took up during the IPO.   So if you have 26mil share which you pick up at 28cts and you know your analyst report can infuence the market, you wouldn' t take that advantage?

For now, it might still be safe from lock-in but see what happened to Figtree (for info Figtree is making profit!!!) whose lock-in expired last week and look at REX which was played to high price on hype and sequently fell.

My view remained the same.   If it start showing creditable improvement, it has a case.   Know what you are buying into.

Maybe their balloon don' t burst so easily.

My personal view but you should trust your own judgement and conviction.

Q1 report coming out in 15 June.   Should be an intersting read.

Those who are vested, hope you haut big big.

DYDD.  wink

Been through a bit of its history.   A bit messy I must say.   Basically an industry business wanna turn into developer.   Now going into hi-tech stuff.

The SSH that sold 1.7mil used to be COO and wanna buy their ELASTOMERIC unit but failed to proceed.   Later ganna ceased.   Dunno what happened internally.

Daily share buy back recently ard 20cts.   Sounded good but they could have done it in March when it is a whole ot cheaper at ard 10cts.   But hey, CEO loaded some around that period instead.   CEO used to be from KIMENG investment unit so pretty shrewd move.   Heehee.   I load some first then use coy $$$ to support the price.   Good huh.  yes  Anyway, he didn' t buy alot so nevermind.   But why waste cash now to buy back shares.   They should save it up for the new business venture.

Then Ex-COO come and sell into stregnth.   Dunno what is in his mind now.   To hold or to dispose?   He still got 6.2mil to play around.   Now his holding under 5%, I think he no longer needs to report sale.

I have no idea how their polymer and property businesses are performing but I am not interested in those.   The RTE JV is the intersting one but no detail at all.   Damn sianzzz... another that I can only watch until more details emerge.

Some of the earlier post suggested this is going to be a BB play so it should be interesting to watch what wil happen in the next few days.

It has a wound but is recovering.   What market wants to see is a confirmation of a strong recovery of its bottomline.   That is the last ingredient for VARD.   When it does, it will attract investors/traders like raw meat to a pack of wolves.   Yummy.......

Not a call to buy/sell/contra/short/trade/whatsoever.   DYDD.   wink

One of the SSH just offload 1.7mil share to the public.   Now his holding is below 5%.   Is this a good sign?

VARD ability to win contracts is well-known.   Now if they can top it up with good execution ie sort out the mess at the Brazilian yard, it will be perfect.

Hey, I haven' t finished writing....

Falcon tested 37cts three time in the last two month.   Yesterday it tested 37cts again.   Today it finally it managed to break through.   Let see if it can close high with good volume and make 38cts the support.   More importanly, let' s see if it last.   Hopefully a good full FY gives it more juice.

DYDD.  wink

See their Net Profit for past three years:

2011 - 3.3k

2012 - 9.8k

2013 (9mth) - 53.9k or 23.5k if adjusted for one-off gain from sale of two rigs.   So what will FY13 NP be???

Net profit' s CAGR is 154% or 93% after adjusting for one-off gain.   Reveune CGAR is 17%.   Reveune growth is great but net profit growth is even better.   I attribute this to better cost control.   Truly a fast and furious turnaround story.   FY13 Q4 results should be out next week.   If all goes well, 0.5cts can be expected.   A distant catalyst is taking CH Offshore private.

Core P/E = 10

P/B =1.3

Not too demanding for a great turnaround story.   Warrant priced at 43cts.   Another stick for coy to do well.

My own analyses.   DYDD.  wink

Check out the bankruptcy of Eike Batista's company OGX, it wiped out US$30 billion of market value. The founder promised lots of oil, but eventually did not deliver a single barrel. So it went bust. Hope REX will not suffer the same fate. So caution is still warranted.

I believe they are tendering their bid for a project  similar to the FPSO decommissioning which they devliverd within 3-4months previously.   Good revenue.   If they remain profitable by H1, they are likely to give out dividend.   It will be a token of thanks to shareholders ie don' t expect much of course that is unless thye turn in a huge profit.   HAUT HA HA!
