That is very interesting. It means that Sta will only record 50+% of Stgt earnings in 2H, a reduction from 1H.
Just to check whether before Stgt ipo, is the glove operation already in existence?
As I have limited knowledge of accounting, what are DR dividend & CR investment? 🙏

dividend income payout from STGT will be recognised by STA group IF the calculation on dividend is to be based on 100% earnings. Unless STGT calculate the minority shareholders and pro-rate earnings accordingly to decide what is the dividends to pay.
But unlikely this will happen before Jul, when IPO did not happen.

STA H1 will record 80+% of STGT earnings as that is the shareholding STA has in STGT, not 50+% (this is post-IPO shareholding level).

STA will recognise dividend payment by Dr Dividend Income, Cr Investment in Subsidiary if I am not mistaken.

I know how you all feel la. That time i also bought at 1.4$ all time high that time before it went for a cold sleepng at $1.2 range. Manage to sold it at $1.6 range for about 2-3 months, but hey its worth waiting.

Compare to bank rates interest returns.

got big players in this already.. you watch how the price and volume moves very obvious... the same buyer that eats up is throwing back down as well to control the price.
and the reason for controlling the price is most likely because set side is still lagging behind.

anyway, i think this counter dont hold too much, just hold some to park one corner and wait for its eventual rise. meanwhile play other counters first.

I am disappointed too to see rise of only 2 cents at end of yesterday. Not expecting something like Medtecs 50%.Thought max 20% up say $1.40 to $1.45. Well it did reach day high of $1.36. Some say must be super patient. Just maybe something may trigger (?)......some good publicity (?). Some say Citibank high target price also no use if no buying force. Some say think long term. Nevertheless I try to stretch my patience. Not advising anything....everyone has different risk return appetite.

Lol, STA is all about patience, if really want fast and quick cash, youre not suitable for this counter. this one is usually for short seller and long termer.

11 FEB : Talks about waste to energy plant sustainable energy business.
28 APR : SGD $5.6 mil contract for biotech research and development works.

Counter also need BB help to make it a rush so that ppl know about it. Just retailer alone cant move.
Now no news or deals yet. Need wait for their result out or those who have far sight on this counter to move it.

Position yourself as the 3rd Largest in the world for gloves.

Top glove is hovering $8-$9 for being number 1 in the world.
Other glove manufacturers are going to ramp up production and facilities. Aspen also investing into glove making.

Sri Trang foresee this and already did well in the IPO stage.

Its a matter of time other investors from all around the world see this and get invested in this.
Remember we are not the only one investing on SGX.

What' s your view on the share price movement for STA over at SET on Monday?
The price closed at Tb 26 on Friday before release on resutls.
if we see a 50% increase, price will hit Tb39.
This will translate to around S$1.75 , which incidentally is the high hit on 2 July after the listing of STGT IPO.
Possible?

To new who are new to Clearbridge.

1) Clearbridge is solid fundamentals.
2) CEO make impressive gains on his previous company
3) CEO business is very strategic and careful plan
4) See covid19 coming, he quickly diversify to test kit, when is primary core is cancer treatment etc.
4) Expanding his business overseas
5) Results shown and proven on this year P& L

My advise is dont just look at the bottom line PROFIT & LOSS. Look at what attritubute to the losses and gains. Are they moving the ship in the right direction?
Where there gains but HIGH debt? Theres alot of areas to look on, but to me as long as the fundamentals are solid and the determination and the position of the company is clear, that is something to look at.

DO ALOT of homework. There' s other forummers saying noises for personal gains and motive. End of the day you decide!

Same like Clearbridge(CB), i got bombard saying the stock is scam etc. Now look at CB making profit inspite of covid 19.
Same like this company, fundamentals are strong.

1) Building cleanroom will be more of a need or demand in near future or probably progressing now.
2) Their company is going on new projects of waste to energy which is paving new way.

Buy and keep, nothing to lose, at this price, in my opinion.
Reap the rewards! DDYOD!

Medtech -> HIT
CB -> HIT
Sri Trang -> HIT
UG Healthcare -> HIT

Acromec -> ??

SATS -> Long term HIT
SBS -> Long term HIT
