Not sure if posted, but Matt Bohlsen of Seeking Alpha on Lithium and Cobalt Boom II coming in early 2018.
He correctly predicted the Lithium and Cobalt Boom back in the early 2016. Full 7 page article.
Summary
I expect lithium and cobalt boom II to start in 2018 as EVs begin to take off in ever increasing numbers helped along by Tesla Model 3.
This second boom will be less obvious - it will be a slow and steady rise over many years, driven by increased production rather than increased price.
The existing and new lithium and cobalt miners that can ramp up and sell production with good margins will be the big winners.
I wrote about the lithium boom in early April 2016 just as it was accelerating, as you can see below.
Then in May 2016 I correctly forecast the cobalt boom, just a few months before it began.
Some of the big 5 will do well again as they expand their production (Albemarle, SQM and Gangfeng in particular), as will recent new producers Orocobre [ASX:ORE], [TSX:ORL], (OTCPK:OROCF), Galaxy Resources [ASX:GXY] (OTCPK:GALXF) and Neometals [ASX:NMT] (OTC:RRSSF)/Mineral Resources [ASX:MIN].
Beginning mid 2018 a new round of producers will also benefit this time including Alliance Mineral Assets Limited [SP:AMS]/Tawana Resources [ASX:TAW] (2018), Pilbara Minerals [ASX:PLS] (OTCPK:PILBF) (mid 2018), Lithium Americas [TSX:LAC] (OTCQX:LACDF) (2019) and perhaps Kidman Resources [ASX:KDR], Altura Mining [ASX:AJM] (OTCPK:ALTAF), Lithium X [TSXV:LIX] (ROCEF) (OTCQX:LIXXF), Nemaska Lithium [TSX:NMX] (OTCQX:NMKEF), Bacanora Minerals (OTC:BCRMF) [TSXV:BCN], Critical Elements [TSXV:CRE] (OTCQX:CRECF), and some other juniors. The graph below also gives an idea of who will be the next tier producers.

I happily have shortists push the price down to a nice accummulation level again...queued at 27.5c hoping it come down and all it did was go up...LOL...so let them come and then when we accummulated all we can with acceptable risk then let it springboard back so fast they have no time to cover....

Nice find. Apart from providing prepayment for the offtake, they also have to invest in a lithium carbonate processing plant. Capital intensive for them.

Actually other Lithium stocks like ORE, NMT, AGY also dropped. Maybe its human nature, we like to find a reason to justify every price movement.  So trying to find a reason for AMAL and TAW rise.

Galaxy announced they just did a major re-organization of their share structure...think they did a stock split, uptake of options and so on. Not certain if this may have upset share price of Galaxy.
As for Pilbarra Minerals they announced earlier today they doing a bond issue of $80 - $100 million. Again, this may explain some negativity on Pilbarra share price.

I happily have shortists push the price down to a nice accummulation level again...queued at 27.5c hoping it come down and all it did was go up...LOL...so let them come and then when we accummulated all we can with acceptable risk then let it springboard back so fast they have no time to cover....

Everytime goes up means news coming? Lol. Just small cap stock push up. Unless it went way up much more than other counter than otherwise wont conclude it has any coming announcement. Take note it has already sink from very high price. This is just small recovery
