Sembcorp Marine: Retirement Of Mr Goh Geok Ling As Chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican To Succeed.

Mr Goh Geok Ling will step down and retire as non-executive Chairman and Director of Sembcorp Marine at the Annual General Meeting on 22 April 2014. Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, currently Deputy Chairman of Sembcorp Marine, will succeed Mr Goh as Chairman of the Board. He will also assume Mr Goh' s role as the Chairman of both the Executive Committee and Executive Resource & Compensation Committee as well as a member of the Nominating Committee on 22 April 2014...

Highly undervalued stock.Counter was unreasonably punished after the 28c CD.(sold out of london subsidary).Now giving another 3c.Where to find.

Time to move up.

Following the successful divestment of CSE Global's entire stake in Servelec Group in Dec last year, we believe management will focus on driving its growth largely from the oil and gas sector.

CSE has significant exposure to the Gulf of Mexico (both the U.S. and Mexico side), and we expect it to benefit from positive trends arising from this area. Looking ahead, we also do not expect CSE to make any further provisions for cost overruns for its Middle-Eastern project, which would aid its margins recovery.

We re-work our assumptions following a change in analyst coverage, and now forecast CSE to register core PATMI growth of 18.7% and 9.3% in FY14 and FY15, respectively. Applying a 9x target PER peg to our FY14 EPS forecast, we derive a fair value estimate of S$0.63 (previously S$0.96 before the Servelec Group divestment). Maintain BUY.

Just 1 year ago, a handful told me Olam reaching 50 cents soon.

50cents....True enough except that they forget to add " per" ------50 percent returns from Bluechip.

I wonder where these " full-fledged" analysts and traders are hiding now?

Didn't meant to shame them in public, but if they dare to make personal attack on people who gives different view, they should be prepared to assume responsibility when things turn out to be different from what they claimed.

Moral of the story, never attack people who have different views or prepare to face karma!

Big bullshit!

Got oil declare got oil and how much.No point giving other excuse temporarily suspended for further exploration.What a crap.

If the Rex technology is so good the company wld have listed in European market and not on this red dot. 

Fair px shld be 30/40c region comparble to Kris Energy which corrected substantially after failed oil exploration.

SGX securities trading tumbles 35% in Feb


Singapore Exchange (SGX) said on Wednesday that securities trading fell 35 per cent to S$20.9 billion, with daily average value of trading down 41 per cent.

Daily average value of trading fell 41 per cent to S$1 billion due to more trading days in February 2013 compared with a year earlier, the SGX said.

Compared to the preceding month, securities trading was 7 per cent down in February while daily average value was 2 per cent lower.

" February 2014 had one less trading day compared with January 2014,'' the SGX said

x 0 		CHINA HSBC MANUFACTURING PMI AT 48.5 FOR FEB. (as expected and marginally above the Flash print)

Chinese manufacturing PMI fell to an 8-month low holding barely above the crucial 50 level yesterday forcing Goldman to admit that " this signals further deceleration" in Chinese growth. All sub-indices showed signs of cyclical slowdown from January to February with perhaps the two most-critical ones - production and new orders - showing considerably larger falls than the headline index itself as we await this evening's HSBC print to confirm an average 'contraction'. China's Services PMI just printed at 55, up from 53.4, to a 3-month high led by a surge in the " expectations" sub-index.
