For a simple mind person like me, what I understand is there is / was an aggressive short seller intend to short down but yesterday could not achieve and had to use a long short account to short sell itself as it tried to cover its intraday shorts.
That means the outstanding shorts lagi bigger.
So maybe it will happen again.
So my understanding is 0.80 seemed to be the bottom we just buy at this level

Who is in the right mind to short at 8 cents????
There are better stocks to short for eg the glove counters and short sellers made lots of money.
Short this a 8 cents ?? Isn't this stupid?
Shouldn't they have shorted at 12 cents already?

MGO is over, no more support at 8 cents by Temasek
8 cents cannot hold because it does not factor in the $650 millions loss for 2H 2021 and analysts' forecast loss of up to $500 milions
for 2022.
Shortists will short SCM up to 5 cents.
Any further bad news like unfavourable merger terms will further depress the share price.
No contract win until end of 2021 will further create weakness in the price.

May I ask a foolish question.
If there is chance to sell at 8 cents, and Temasek already offered at 8 cents and close.
So why will this share fall below 7.9 cents?
It will be damn stupid to not sell at 8 cents and wait till fall below 8 cents to sell right?
If people need money back would have sold, then who will keep selling at 8 cents
I must be very stupid to ask this question

You see I bought last month at 0.88 and up to support.
They shorted at 0.89 and expected us to sell.
They will be disappointed

A stupid seller is a short seller.
They chose to sell when buying is weak and not when there are lots of buying interests

I don' t think this time is short selling. It looks more like panic selling. Maybe from the poor provident fund again. There were good buying interest @0.855/0.86 last week but seller choose to seller lower today, very stupid seller not like short seller.
