Good potential indeed. Far far safer than taking chances on coys like BW. Nearly 1 bil profit/yr n decent PE n EPS. Will it hit 1.2 bil profit in five yrs after GS 2.0 kicks in? My sense is high possibility. What if win IR in Jepun, even if in a JV. Then likely profit cld see 1.5 bil? I' m pretty hopeful it' d be a reality.

Who cares about getting whacked by the forum.. getting whacked by the market is way worse.
I am vested too.. the play was to sell when BWL goes up yesterday due to its good Q1, clarification announcement, short covering etc but obviously that failed badly.
Now suspension and more attacks coming in... probably just market sell when counter resumes and wait for dust to settle.

Fully agree. I kinda thought there were no issues with this BWI until the revelation abt the likely family connection in their PRC ops. BWI had insisted that there was no link, stating that, " None of the directors, bla, bla, bla ..... " until a " brother-in-law" popped up. If the family connection is proved (is a DNA test necessary?), it' d completely demolish BWI' s credibility, n exemplify the classic fine art of telling half truths in my view. Wld it then be the first act to necessitate a ministerial " Take-down" order under the new law if it has already been signed into law?

I would be very careful with such thoughts. SGX does not typically order a suspension for trivial matters. While I think this could have been done earlier and better managed - its speaks not well of either BW Management or the SGX - in allowing the repeated and consecutive trading halts and suspension - as well as allowing trading to commence again, where others were sucked into the buying frenzy initially. I would be very very careful, before starting buying again for myself personally.
A 0.1 cent stock can only fall so much. A $1.36 stock, has much much more to go before it hits that level.
Shortists are rubbing their fingers with glee. And this seems to them like a one directional bet. There are also many other ways to short a stock, and not just using naked shorts or borrowed script.

Since there is no such announcement, the suspension must have been initiated by SGX.
We can expect an announcement from SGX soon.

Thats why always be ready buy batches, i didnt expect 165 to break. Oil price correction looks like almost done, market knee jerk reaction. Oil stocks always a buy on pullback. May bounce up faster than expected too given the few days big drop in oil px.
