Nowadays hospitals all so full.... and SG population is growing to 6.9mil.

Somemore they operate in chain outlets just like Q& M......

Will this cause more business being pushed to GPs at healthway?

ok, found the below information:

 

" Most believe Japan&rsquo s legislation will call for four casinos one each for the major cities of  Tokyo and Osaka and two regional areas that will determined. The developments will be integrated resorts &mdash hotel-casinos with convention space, dining, shops and entertainment."

 

So genting and las vegas may get a good chance if Japan decided to go ahead with the casinos building

Tourism accounts for 10% of the Thai economy and, 26.5 million who visited last yr, about 2.5 million came for medical reasons, including spa and healthcare services, according to figures from the Dept of Export Promotion.

About a third of those medical tourists come from the Middle East, another quarter from Southeast Asia and nearly 15% from Europe.

Months of unrest, which began with anti-govt protests in November, already appear having some effect, and worsen  when Army' s intervention fails to put a stop to outbreaks of disorder.

Top-end Bangkok hospital Bumrungrad attracts a lot of patients from the Middle East and competes with SG Raffles Medical Group and Healthway Medical Corp in Singapore

It saw a 12% drop in foreign inpatients in the  1st-Q and an 18% fall in outpatients.

Pricing for the prices to be paid by the govt for the rail and tain assets will be tricky. Afterall, it was built by the Govt and given to SMRT and SBS in the first place.
