This news already came out yesterday late evening.
Now is how REX mgt going to work out concrete plans and also cost cutting to push REX operations to generate positive incomes and profits and convince the shareholders that the coming FY2024 will be much better and the worst is over.

Rex International guides for FY2023 net loss

The board of Rex International Holding 5WH - has announced that it expects to report a net loss for the FY2023 ended Dec 31, 2023, based on a preliminary review of its unaudited consolidated financial results.

In a profit guidance filing on Feb 13, the company says the losses are mainly due to non-cash items related to the impairment of goodwill, oil and gas properties, as well as the exploration and evaluation of assets.

The company is still in the process of finalising the impairment assessment over its oil and gas properties and its results for FY2023.

Rex International expects to release its unaudited consolidated financial results for FY2023 on or before Feb 29.

The impairment must be huge leading to ordinary profit not able to cover
Book value from 0.19 to who knows what.

The underlying problem is why write off.

They book in rm100m under OTHER INCOME
Any details of this? I don see explanation (maybe my eyesight problem) except earlier announcement that it was due to disposal of past investment can t see the logic how this take in this huge amount. May have query later.

Note anyway without this one off gain. it will be a loss.
