If RS results blowing the top, likely so, PPE may move BUT RS is not just PPE
It s clean room high end PPE for economic- driven industries not for sick bays Covid era stocks

Why would there be short sellers when the company is good?
Any short sellers for banks? Even fundamentally strong companies like Tech companies as RS Micro Mechanics, UMS, Venture, who dare short?
Only these they may have some insiders or deem corroding ones invite shorts.

I find it very suspicious that Rex sold off 20% in the one month leading up to its profit warning.

When you look at other oil and gas companies regionally, they did not sell off so badly. Even RH Petrogas here -7% in the same time period. CNOOC in Hong Kong up 7%. Brent oil price up 6%.

But Rex is down 20%? Looks like insider trading to me. These guys are crooks.

Gloves hard to be profitable unless Covid like era.
Or some rumours of Covid escalation.
UG Medtec rarely profitable before Covid
Homes probably get fetch net $2m
How to be profitable on a sustainable basis?
So many homes available. Not forgetting many can retire at home with subsidised maid levy.

Take in big amount of goodwill or over valued an investment and now write off.
No matter what NTA will be reduced significantly
Like back to 0.16 region.

Rex International falls 10% on heavy volumes after profit guidance

SHARES of Rex International dropped 10 per cent on heavy trading on Wednesday (Feb 14), after the group warned of net loss for FY2023.

As at 10.02 am, the counter fell S$0.015 to S$0.129, registering a ten-month low.

It picked up a bit at 10.49 am, trading down 9 per cent or S$0.013 to S$0.131. With 33.6 million shares traded, it stood as the second-most briskly traded counter.

After the market closed on Tuesday, the board of the upstream energy player said the group will expect losses mainly due to &ldquo non-cash items related to impairment of goodwill, oil and gas properties, and exploration and evaluation assets&rdquo , based on its preliminary review of the unaudited financials for the year.

Rex International : 5WH -11.11% noted in its profit guidance that it is still in the process of finalising the impairment assessment over its oil and gas properties and FY2023 results, which will be released on or before Feb 29.

Assuming 70/80% occupancy

The net profit not enough to cover the ppe losses
If maintain this way.
Next, their net cash dip to 0.028.
