There is 542 million floating.
Everday there is an average of 100 million change hands.
1 pip takes at least 20 million volume.
So what is behind this play?

This counter is so strange.  So many buyers and so many sellers.  I suspect it is a right/left pocket trade to create movement and volume.
Any comments ???

If the program is fixed to buy certain quantity today, we might see the price close high at 81.

If I know, I will buy 5 million at 0.078 and start selling slowly at 0.08.  This counter give you alot of regrets and hope.  Stress out my mind.
But it is very interesting to find out who is behind the buyers and sellers.  It must a game of some power control over the company.
Don' t seems to be a game of BB.

This counter is very tiring.  You buy and chances you get stuck at that 1 pip.  This counter is playing some mind games.

Market player will not waste their time with 70 million on 1 pip.  So it should be Allied Tech main shareholders fighting among themselves.  These counter has forever huge volume but the price move within a very narrow band.

I think rather than some big shareholder dumping slowly.  There is an endless supply for selling at 0.08.  The current management is picking up those that are dumped.  Hope they have enough bullets to hold the price.  If not, finished.

Before the CEO resigned, everything seems to be in order.  No questions need to be raised as the agreement for the Suzhou sale is filed in SGX, reasons given, sold to who, etc.    But now, with the resignation, the big question is whether it is due to this transaction.

Anyway, the price performance today is very good, so if you believe there is no issue, so be it.  I' m just been kind to let everyone know what my views are, since they have gone from positive previously to now cautious, not negative yet until the reason for the CEO resignation is confirmed to have no impact on the Company.

However, I' m glad I have taken profit, in all quite a tidy sum of more than 6k over 5 days.    Quite happy with the stock.

most of your doubts below should be raised at the time of annoucement of the Suzhou Sale. they are not related to resignation of CEO

How does CEO resign relate to your doubts below?

There is a bad debt, but it should be taken over by buyer I think according to the filing I read
What is the net effect of the Suzhou sale to Allied Tech?    Any loss? Did they sell too low? Will the sale go through?

was the sale done at arms length? Any under table or unjustifiable actions?
What was the reason for doubling the outstanding shares by placements. Is it to cover losses or to acquire new biz?

The CEO just resigned. This is unusual. Hence it is proper to ask those questions. Given the news, there is uncertainty. You don't seem to be happy with my posts. Any issues

CEO selling to a friend or someone he knows is not the issue.    Whether it is done at arms' length, and whether there is a loss from the sale due to bad debts I think are the real issues.  On surface, the SGX filing seems okay, the buyer is to take over all assets (assume it is including the bad debt).
I' m not sure whether it is correct to assume the CEO does not want to move away from metal stamping, as I read a few years' annual reports, and his statement always seem to give impression they are seeking new businesses.  Also, the new e commerce business seems to be the CEO' s idea.    The Shanghai subsi sale and Suzhou also seems driven by him.    I' d read from the documents filed with SGX, the CEO is the main driver behind all the moves.  His deputy resigned earlier, and I noted the portfolio of the deputy is China market, so it fits perfectly well with the plan to retire all those connected to Chinese metal stamping biz since they are exiting the China market.    The funny thing is there is an SGX filing of a promotion and the person seems to be in charge of some parts of the China market, so there seems to be some contradiction, but maybe certains skills are needed, probably business development in metal stamping would be least important, finance yes all companies need good CFOs.
With the CEO gone, who will drive the company and is the reason behind the CEO leaving due to fraud?    Only the Suzhou sale seems suspicious, can' t think of any other issue.
Exiting China market seems a rational decision as the bottomline improved after they sold the Shanghai subsi, and they were saying the Suzhou subsi is difficult because of one customer not paying them.
The market today however, seems to be showing strong support.

The CEO is a Taiwanese.  The Suzhou plant is sold to a Taiwanese investor.  The CEO is a precision engineer by education and trade.  Allied Tech is already a listed company.  It does not belong to the CEO anymore though he still own 18.49%.  The manangement in Singapore is shifting away from Precision engineering and focusing on other digital business like the Coporate Travel business.  This is not what Mr Hsu  Ching Yuh wants.  Mr Hsu is alreay 61 years old.  He might be too old to change and he still has a passion for his precision business.  So very lightly the Tawianese investor who buy the Suzhou plant is a close relative of him.  He will not dump his 18.49% share as he still believe in investing in this company.
