Bought at 60 cents but sold even before it touches 80 cents, bad judgment but what to do? Now no bullet to buy back as vested in other shares liao :(

Yes on paper. However, hard to predict what the price will be after XE. Most likely GP share price will hold but Fragrance might drop as it has shot up from about 22 cents to 26 cents after the announcment of GP Hotel matter. Having said that, Fragrance is still trading CD of 0.004 after XE. So hard to say which direction the share price will head but long term should be up. Just my view for sharing.

They have 'break' with GP hotel and
are no longer dealing in hotel business. Now pure property developer. Setting up of subsidiaries overseas is the first step before working on projects.

Holding long term view on both fragrance and GP hotel and since fragrance is distributing GP shares dividend in specie, I have bought fragrance share and will also buy GP shares subsequenlty to round up the lots. Just sharing only, not to promote fragrance and/or GP, invest with one' s own decision.

Take heart! If you are still holding you will be rewarded with GP shares! Even if you only have 100 lots you will get the free GP shares worth at least 2.4k. Cheers...

If it hits 0.265 only, that is quite disappointing, a year+ back. I bought the shares at 0.270. At that time, profits were increasing every quarter and year. Parc rosewood and all their developments were sold out.

Thereafter it suddenly slumped to 0.190+ for no reason, even with quarterly earnings better than yoy.

Till recently, it gained back on track to 0.25 with the dividend of GPH.

Its current NAV might not reflect its market price, but its potential earnings as a property developer is much more what a trading company can offer. Furthermore, STI is at a high now.

For the price to underperform is really difficult for me to understand.

Have been looking through their latest AR and on page 56 directors/CEO renumeration, the CEO pay package is more than $2mil. So out of that $8.5mil loss in FY13, $2mil alone comes from his pay package? So he take $2mil every year first while you wait for him to find oil! This is really a good business as I mentioned (but for them). They have better find more oil spots asap but I have more imortant things to do now which is where should I go for my $2k dinner tonight??? Damn! More difficult than finding oil.

Okay enough ranting. Really they are wasting their time and your money on exploration activities. Their REXONIC.trumps all (AR page 35):

Rexonic owns the world&rsquo s first environmentally-friendly, high-power ultrasound technology for commercial oil well stimulation that has shown to increase oil production by 30 per cent to up to 380 per cent both onshore and offshore. The proprietary, patented technology, developed by Ogsonic AG&rsquo s founders, is highly efficient in cleaning production well bores from typical oil production inhibitors such as wax, paraffin and salt deposits, thereby significantly increasing the flow of oil into the well bores at lower cost.

Just this alone you sell to oil production company, you super rich liao. Note that it is patented so they are proteted. Even if it is an increase in 30% is huge profit for oil coy. What waste time on all the other REX-tech to find something so difficult to find.

Wah, this coy with this super-duper tech only worth $30mil? Crazy!

Fragrance is the holding company of GP Hotel. Put it simply, Mr Koh Wee Meng had decided to split the two. He is the founder of Fragrance and now he is buying more GP Hotel shares. To have nothing to do with GP Hotel, Fragrance will give away almost all of its GP Hotel shares by way of dividend in specie at 0.08 GP share for every 1 Fragrance share. In other words, if you own 100 000 Fragrance share, you will get 8000 GP shares. However, Mr Koh will still remain controlling shareholder of the 2 companies after the distribution of dividend in specie even though on paper, the 2 companies have nothing to do with each other anymore. So I am thinking of buying more Fragrance shares to have free GP Hotel share and would like to know how others think? What should be the consideration? Because if everything remain status quote after CA, CE, CD, it is a good deal, isn' t it?

Mr Derek bought again at 138. He now own almost 38% of the company if I recall correctly. 1% margin or thereabout is the norm in this industry. This is a steady ship and if Mr Derek keep buying I am assured. Xd in a few days time and payout on 19.5.14 if I remember correctly. Only 2 points I am a bit unhappy, 1) the gearing went up and 2) employee share option with up to 15% discount. Gearing up could be due to business expansion/cost still OK, give share discount of up to 15%? I will be watching serial like a hawk and if I think the grant has no merit, I will take action. Vested.

Exactly. Now even Oman oil well consider successful or not also become unclear. The last I recall they said the ' found' , the ' experience' , the ' knowledge' put them in good stead for further exploration in the area. Somethig like that. Now what does that mean? Is there any plan for production??

Not going to touch this counter until solid revenue is being generate or proper planning for Oman Oil Well.

They will follow up with some good news soon to trap more people and BB sell to the market.

It has been repeated so many timee since ipo.

Results out. Negative EPS, NAV decreased, no cash generated as expected, still spending the money from IPO and private placement.... if money finish how? More placement?

Don' t know where the money is going to come from and SP Angel said TP 1.19 before the release of the 1q results...

To add on further, expect an impairment of $ 10 mil for total write off of FRAM.....their dateline for fund injection by other parties expired in Mar 2014......and rex claimed to hear no news on update......cannot imagine a Major shareholder of 27% lost communication with FRAM altogether.

BTW, salary expenditure is about $ 3mil / quarter......imagine the next 8 quarters of no income. Even if they find oil in North and BArrent sea and assume they sell off the concession , the earliest return will be mid 2016.....and if producion is considered.....earliest is end 2017. Prospect is good ........but sustenance till end 2017 is most crucial and too many concessions ( with datelines) without funds is a headache.$ 85 mil in pocket wont last a long time, will it???

Also no news of REXONIC group getting contract.....invested $ 10 mil in there......yet no news about this entity.......last news.....a daughter of Major shareholder employed in there.

Been keeping a close watch into this counter and pored thru every announcements and disclosure......Cannot say say $ 1.19 or $1.27 TG is wrong.......it' s a matter of time.....earliest end 2017 with things as it is now.

The Oman concession got good outflow, no indication of proven reserve yet for a one off sale, therefore still cannot sell off as concession as it is now. Alos start talking about production 8 quarters from now (contradicting their initial objective of finding oil and sell off for fast return). Under production then first return on profit will come only end 2017......about $ 7 mil for one well after deducting cost of drilling etc. AFter that in region of maybe $ 28 mil thereafter.

Trinidad and Tobago will have 5 wells in production again in about 12 months at 550 barrels /day ( total). After deducting cost again return will likely be end 2016......and $ 3mil for 2017 and thereater. However,this income will be utilised for other drilling , operation etc and will not be booked as profit....as announced by them.....for sake of self sustenance.

In short , expext capital expenditure for at least another 8 quarters from their $ 85 mil existing in the pocket. The fields in North and Barrent Sea requires big time money for drilling.....each well will cost $ 30 -40 mil. If you note , there were some fund placement in North Energy ( loss making co) ......these are meant for drilling in their Drill or Drop concession........Drill or Drop means " start drilling or get lost and lose your concessions' ' ..... it is an ultimatum dateline. The other fields in the same place by Lime petroleum also has dateline in beginning of 2015.......the fund are not fully there, hence SP Angel was engageg.....they are fund procurers in continental Europe...... there you are.....expectation for next few quarters.

The saving grace for now is sell off the concession in Oman after CONFIRMING....... proven reserves of at least 30 mil barrels .......possible???.... this will much relief pressure, in fact become profitable instantly.
