Yongnam is back on the uptrend.   I think this time it will up 40cts and not look back.   Pity those folks who shorted.

Yongnam is an excellent stock with lots of potential.
True, a minor disappointment in not getting the Myanmar airport contracts but I agree with the analysis - it is very likely due to the overall package rather than Yongnam's technical expertise. Maybe Yongnam didn't offer under the table money for those Myanmar govt officials hahaha.
All the best to everyone.

All I am asking for rosesyrup is to be objective in her analysis.
She has been throwing stones and rocks against Yongnam after she sold it off, hoping to buy Yongnam again at her price target of 24.5cts.

Now rosesyrup creates clones to support her. Hahahaha so underhanded is it not? Everybody can see thru your pretence.
Next time make sure your rubbishing of Yongnam is supported by facts and not by one off noobie luck.

Well well well rosesyrup is finally getting rattled. What happened to you last post and then last post and last post again? Only bull shit right?
Stop playing with words. we know what you actually wrote, and its posted here for posterity. hahaha, you want to hope for 24.5cts again, wait long long.
You should stop opening your mouth to confirm what the rest of us here have suspected all along.
Just because you got it right one time is pure beginners luck.
Don't let it go to your head, Ms Quack Quack

You can't even keep to your own words, how to expect folks to believe you?   You have zero credibility, period.
I am not going to spoon feed you, go do your homework on Yongnam.   So where is your 24.5cts now?   Where is your 22cts?   Really pian geena is all you can do.   Go play with your dolls and other masak masak you silly quack.

@ Wiseguy, Genius, Professional, The next Warren B.......whatever you want to be known as. I don't know what gave you the confidence that 24.5cents is a zero possibility but I admire that courage as I have yet to seen any analyst making such bold claim. (but then again, I might be just a beginner).
Anyway, I did not claim that Yongnam will definitely reach 24.5cents, I merely warned that entry above this point is risky due to a need for buffer range- something I have learn from Warren B, and I am not sure whether he is a beginner to you too. Also, all of us are well aware that Yongnam is diversified (mostly in Asia), and I did warned in previous posts that funds are flowing out of Asia leading to expensive funds and less affordable projects. I shall not spoon feed you on how to reach the previous posts, you can try it out with the mouse buttons.
BTW expert, just like to let you know that huge warrants overhang is not the only factor that can keep a price down. Times do change and new factors do emerge. Sometimes it is better to be just cautious beginner than to be a bragging expert.
Since I have divested all my interest in this counter and currently hold no position, this shall be my final post- before those who longed the counters start to hate me. My final advice to those who emailed me: (Assuming no significant change in company fundamental)
1) Any price above 27.5 cents present an opportunity to exit.
2) Whether 24.5 cents present an attractive opportunity, you got to do your own assessment. But my own definition of attractive: 22 cents.
3) Shorting is discouraged as the counter remain highly volatile.
Goodbye and good luck to everyone regardless of the position you hold.

You guys are newbies or what?
Yongnam's current price already overfactored a no win scenario.
Why did you think the price fell from 35cts all the way down to 29cts in the first place? To hope for 24.5cts is just unrealistic thinking.
Remember, the reason why Yongnam's price was at 24.5cts was due to the huge warrants overhang which expired in mid dec 2012.
I agree that without the myanmar contract, Yongnam is well placed to look for better opportunities with less risk, just like Singtel. |

Noobies will say anything to get away with murder.
Just because you got lucky once with shorting Yongnam doesn't mean anything.
And I thought your precious post before the last was your last post?
Tsk tsk

Rosesyrup, from your responses one can surmise that you are a total noob.
Lots of theories but no field experience. You still studying or just graduated?
Yongnam already sold down from its highs of 38.5cts to 29cts as its intel already knew Myanmar airport tender " no win", although even at 32cts+ the counter had not factored in a win.
Current price at 26.5cts is a real steal and this counter has been grossly oversold, depressed by BB shorties. The continuous selldown over the past 3 weeks means now already no more meat to short and these BBs will reverse direction to kill these shorties instead.
One wise saying to rosésyrup to take note.
"It is better to shut your mouth and be thought a fool, rather than open it and remove all doubt."
Cheers!

Go do your research.... Yongnam does have a presence both regionally and globally. I am not going to spoon feed you.
And it is changing from being purely projects based to being an infrastructure player :)

I totally disagree with Ms Rosesyrup, of course.   And I hope here we are able to agree to disagree.
The only reason why Yongnam is sleeping now is because strong hands dictate the direction, and not that it is not a lousy counter.
The below still holds true.  | MONDAY, 03 JUNE 2013 10:25 | DBS upgrades Yongnam Holdings (Y02.SG) to Buy from Hold as it believes Yongnam's consortium is a strong contender for Myanmar's airport projects.
" We think Yongnam's consortium stands a good chance of securing the projects given its Singapore and Japan representation. JGC corporation is Japan-based while Yongnam and Changi Airport Group are Singapore-based, all of which are viewed favourably by the Myanmar government." A win on the Yangon airport project could boost the share price by $0.12, it says. DBS estimates that the construction of the Yangon Airport project could add $10.4 million or $0.06 per share to FY14 forecast earnings.
" Thereafter, the rights to operate the airport for the next 30 years would add another S$0.06 to the stock based on discounted cashflow projection," it says " Yongnam's current valuations are only in line with peers, and not reflecting Yongnam as a strong contender for project wins in Myanmar. We are convinced Yongnam stands a good winning chance and thus believe +1 (standard deviation) valuation is achievable." The house has an upwardly revised $0.41 target on the stock. |
