Genting will see a drop today and tomorrow. Profit taking. Insitutional Funds withdrawal.

Genting is up more than + 6.5% in less than a week. And more than + 85% since its lows of 60 cents just more than 1 year ago only.

Poised for Profif Taking.

If retail investors dont take profit, institutional investors and funds will.

This happens to Noble too. When above 20 cents, retail investors hesitated to take profits.

3) US government shutdown looming as debt ceiling hit.
4)China is anger about US deployment of missile defend system in south korea.

There is a reason why everything is tabled and spelled in Black and White.
The bidders knew Casino Concessions are 30 years only.
They also knew Exclusivity Period is 10 years. (2007 - 2017)

Our Policy makers decisions are swift, sudden and often unexpected. E.g. look at the recent sudden policy changes announcements to the property regulations and finance companies too. All were taken by surprise.

So i wont be surprised if our Policy makers may do this :
2017 : Announce plans for 3rd IR
2018 : Actual Bidding and Award of License
2023 : 3rd Casino and IR ready

So it is a "fair game". Current IR operators still have at least 6 years of "exclusivity period" before they face off with new competiton.

And let's face it. Singapore current state of economy really needs a major boost of injection. A 3rd IR will surely help in terms of all aspects : jobs creations, boost in state revenues, construction contracts, logistics,...etc

Fact is: Singapore has been losing investments to Malaysia recently. Lots of investments.

We seriously need more business to help our own economy. Especially important is Jobs Creations. Infrastruture enhancements, new IR , financial center prominence and etc .

And if and should 3rd IR is being announced, expect Genting to have a "psycological plunge of at least - 25% in its share price" even though 3rd IR will only be operationally ready in 5 to 6 years time.

I am betting on 3rd IR. Very high chance.

Especially our Tourism industry needs "New Attractions, New Lure" . Otherwise, we will be "dull and boring Singapore" to the tourists who always like something New.

So at its current price, good for those who can take profits and also for those who can exit out break even even with small ptofits after holding it out for so many years.

For those hesitant to take profits, well.... a painful stock investing lesson learnt perhaps ? : )

E.g. just look at Noble at above 20 cents. Those hesitant to take profits when they entered "low" at 17 to 18 cents now are seeing 14 to 15 cents. Instead of booking profits , they are booking losses . Cos they only look at "maybe sinochem" but didnt expect noble surprise "consolidation news".

Remember Genting current PE ratio is almost 50. Not 15. With only 1 competitor.

Cos those casino regulars who used to bet $1000 a bet a few years ago now bet only $100 a bet. Why ? : )
And regular casino gamblers are always those few. Same group people. New customers ? They only go there once a while. E.g. during CNY and they bet small stakes.

Casino License : starts 2007
License Exclusivity ends : 2017
Casino License Concessions : 30 years , used up 10 years already, left only 20 years BUT ...
Genting with only 1 competitior MBS only...currently only managed so-so results with current PE RATIO almost 50 !

Concessions left only 20 years. PE Ratio 50.
If 3rd IR come into the picture to eat the same cake, what will happen ? PE 100 ?

Expect our Govt to come up with 3rd IR to stimulate our economy, and with at least US$ 5 billion potential investment money injection, will be good for state revenues.
With current health of Singapore economy, the likelihood of 3rd IR very very high indeed. (Just Look At Our 4th Telco License and the license revenue it brought)

Uncertainties still abound. Another external factor will have a huge impact on Genting. E.g. Govt possible plans to increase the $100 24-hr entry fees (to deter local gambling as you have just seen tv "quit gambling " advertisements campaigns very recently and to increase state revenues) China "anti policies ....", other IRs and Casino competition for only that few limited VIP customers from other countries , e.g. Korea, Marianas , Taiwan , Cambodia, Australia, Macau ....etc and of course the 3rd IR Casino in Singapore

I find Rowsley Chairman Ng Ser Miang 很可怜。
He director of Yanlord so long, when Yanlord below $1 , he also never buy. Now Yanlord $1.90.

He Rowsley Chairman buy Rowsley @ 10.5 cents a Share (2 million shares), now Rowsley 8.9 cents. Mr Ng losing money.

I mean, he is such a nice guy such a gentleman.

I dont care what you all say lah. I already entered at 0.102 (100 lot) yesterday. Another 100 lot budget for Rowsley, total 200 lot (10% of Chairman Ng Ser Miang 2 mil purchase at 0.105)

Rowsley compared to other penny stocks is still an " integrity penny stock" lah. 1. It dont exaggerate too much 2. it dont anyhow bullsh-it to promote itself too much

I am buying for the simple following reasons :

1. I look at the TA Chart. It has bottomed out. Thus, it will TA rebound. Short Term TP : 0.12 (not unrealistic)

2. Chairman Ng Ser Miang just bought 2 million shares at 0.105. As long as we buy around this price + - 0.105, can considered " good buy" " safe buy"

(btw, I like Mr Ng Ser Miang. If you can join the IOC top board committee, you must have great personality and intergrity

)

3. What some forummer said is quite logical. Rowsley fully paid up the land in JB, Iskandar Zone A. Rowsley is into " higher growth regions" , e.g. Iskandar Johor (HSR ready in 2026), Manchester (London HSR to Manchester in the making also) .

Rowsley venture for Iskandar Vantage Bay is realistic and highly feasible and possible for success.

A. It has Thomson Medical expertise to " guide" it.

B. It has bro TMC Life Sciences too.

So with these ready " ingredients" , it can do it.

4. We have seen how Rowsley shoot up easily from 14 cents to 21.5 cents before. Not just one time. Think at least 2, 3 times. Means if they want to jack up their share price, easy for them. (maybe due to public float not so much and many still holding at 25 cents and above) . Once, it just took 30 mins to jump surge from 14 cents all the way to 20 cents. Effortlessly. Now, why aren' t they doing it ? My guess is they are not so pressured by the MTP ruling so much like before. So though they can do the surge up easily anytime, for reasons only BBs know, they are not doing it now . Point is : they can easily just do it if they want to.

5. Dont forget Peter Lim strong business friends connections regionally, in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, even in Australia. Add to these : Gary Neville , Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo even F1 Hamilton . So let' s see how Peter Lim " blueprint" his plans. Only he is the one who can make Rowsley a success.

I will bet it will rebound from its lows. My $ I decide lah. Total 200 Lot ok lah.

SEMBCORP' S BUSINESS............ 29 numbers everyone needs to know.

1. The segment has operations in 14 countries, spanning from Singapore to the United Kingdom to Brazil. The conglomerate has a developer-owner-operator model. Sembcorp Industries has the capacity to provide project development expertise, to own a stake in the asset, and to operate and maintain the asset after completion.

2. The segment can be divided into three major parts. Energy is the largest contributor to the segment&rsquo s net profit at around $208 million ( a 58% share). Water is next with a net profit of over $88 million, or a 25% share. On-site logistics and waste management contributed $59 million in net profit, or a 17% share.

3. In 2001, Sembcorp Industries&rsquo power generation capacity was less than 1000 MW (megawatts). Today, its power capacity (in operation and under development) stands at over 11,000 MW. China and India are the biggest contributors at 3,056 MW and 3,611 MW, respectively. Sembcorp Industries has 12 energy projects which are slated for completion in 2017 and 2018.

4. Energy generation comes in three main forms for Sembcorp Industries: gas-fired, coal-fired, and renewable and energy from waste (EfW). The gas-fired power capacity stands at 4,849 MW, which represents 44% of the Utilities segment&rsquo s total power capacity. The coal-fired power capacity contributes 39%, or 4,260 MW, while the renewable and EfW piece provides 1,807 MW, or 17% of the total power capacity.

5. Major power plants for Sembcorp Industries include Chongqing Songzao Sembcorp with 1,620 MW, Thermal Powertech Corporation India with 1,320 MW, and Sembcorp Gayatri Power with 1,320 MW.

6. Moving onto water, Sembcorp Industries&rsquo water treatment capacity has grown from less than three million cubic meters per day in 1997 to around nine million cubic meters per day in 2016.

7. From a geographical perspective, Singapore has a water treatment capacity of over 4.7 million cubic meters per day and accounts for a majority of its water segment&rsquo s capacity. China is at second place with 2.3 million cubic meters per day. The major water treatment plants are in Jurong Island with almost 4.5 million cubic meters per day and Changzhi (China) with 1.3 million cubic meters per day.

8. Elsewhere, Sembcorp Industries also manages approximately one million tonnes per year in waste collection and around 300,000 tonnes per year in recyclables collection.
